Hey Chloe! Just completed a degree in Clothing Retail management and wish to find out what the average salary is for a visual merchandiser in the UK? ( Are you in a junior or mid-level position by the way?)
Show passion for fashion - tell them where you get your inspo from, key trends you love etc, also think customer mindset and how you can make a difference to the customer journey through the store as a VM… it’s also a managerial role so any background in that definitely say about but if not it doesn’t matter just say how you will lead and motivate a team. Just be willing to learn and have lots of enthusiasm for the brand, the clothes and the role as a VM … good luck xxx
Please don't work for H&M 95% of the time you will have a terrible experience i worked for them for 1 year and have been called names by my store manager/my boss and so have many other usually your best is never good enough some H&M'S have wonderful store managers and it is awesome to work there but 95% of the time it's like eating sh*t off the floor they treat you like you are worth nothing also a lot of predators be careful
