You've proven your ability to provided excellent art in a book which I thought would be far too childish and limiting to do so. Bravo! Beautiful pages. As a beginner I personally like Johanna Basford's simpler pages. I don't do backgrounds so they're ideal for me. I don't have any alcohol or acrylic pens, distressed inks etc so only use pencils.
What skin tone colors do you use on the Christl vogl boys/girls? They are absolutely adorable! My skin always turns out too pink/red. I must be choosing my colors wrong 😂
I don't use pink for the skin, only for blush. When I do fair skin tone with Polychromos, I use Cinnamon, Light Flesh (#132) and Nougat. You can do variations of skintone by adding also Burnt Ochre and Burnt Sienna for darker color. If skin looks pinkish, you can use Ivory as blender. If I use prismacolors, it's Nectar, Beige Sienna, Light Umber, Light Peach.
