- 7/17/16 - This weekend in Phillipsburg, NJ, New York Susquehanna and Western #142 and everyone's favorite blue locomotive, Thomas the Tank Engine, were riding the rails together on the Bel Del. 142 was operating her own trips, while Thomas was operating his own trips for a Day Out With Thomas, as part of his tour around the country.
My love for trains goes way back to when I used to watch Thomas on TV. My parents also took me to see him at the Strasburg Railroad when I was young. As someone who grew up with Thomas, it was pretty great getting the chance to see him again.
Sweet video!! Looks like you had a lot of fun with the NYSW #142 and Thomas the Tank Engine! :D
Thanks man! Yup it was a great time :D

Awesome video
Thanks!
Great video!
Thank you!

For some reason I can't reply directly to your comment. Yes some of our videos do look the same. This one especially because we both went out to Phillipsburg to see these trains. We went at different times though on our own. I was not with him when I filmed this. Other videos of mine that look the same as his are that way because those were times that him and I were railfanning together
Does Percy go to the events at the Bel-Del?
I don't believe he does. I know for a fact that he goes to Strasburg though.
Nice video man! The M-2 was really smokin' it up, last time I saw that much smoke from a M-2 was in January, lol - ruclips.net/video/N2EAPZrh3GQ/видео.html - @7:19.
Thanks dude!
I'll go ahead and take a look at that video
The Nomadic Railfan You've seen this vid before, I linked it as an example of a "bad smoke day" for a SD70M-2. :P
Norfolk Southern ES44AC lol yup, I remembered it when I clicked on it
The Nomadic Railfan Yeah. :D
7:25 Why was that guy yelling?
He was yelling at the person who was walking next to the tracks.
The Nomadic Railfan Thought so. Why do some rail Enthusiasts act like idiots?
The person he was yelling at wasn't a rail enthusiast, it was just a random person that happened to decide to walk that way
The Nomadic Railfan In my opinion, people shouldn't trespass on railway property.
You're absolutely correct, you and I share the same opinion. While seeing a normal person does bother me, it bothers me even more so when I see or hear about another railfan trespassing. Not only is it illegal and dangerous, but it gives railfans a bad name.
