They still do brother, just gotta look hard, cause you won't find it on CMT or damn near no radio channels. Other then maybe college's. But yeah as a majority, by enlarge county music has lost its soul and went for the dough. Sold out for limelights and cash. Hank III has some really good music.
Great reaction, Hank Williams At and Jr and some amazing artists and musicians. If you are diggin' on The Williams, check out Hank Jrs son, Hank 3, he has some pretty good stuff. But he crosses from metal, punk to county. One hell of an artist and musician. Took his daddy and granddads talent's and ran with them. He doesn't get any play cause he is a true Outlaw.
If I could like this 500 times I would. I'm so glad Hank Jr finally made his way to your channel. You are head and shoulders above any reactor out there, and you keep it 100. I loved watching you as the Hank Jr version was playing, I could tell you were into it. Keep fighting the good fight
I appreciate you my friend, and your determination to just enjoy the music for what it says. I've been a Hank Jr. fan since waaaayy back, and I can tell you that the segment of the population that he supposedly "represents" have been stereotyped as something we are not. Know that you are loved and appreciated based on the content of your character...... and it's good! ...Thanks for another great reaction. Keep em coming!
Great analysis. Hank Jr. Is different from his father. He can still write greats songs. Sadly Hank and his wife lost their daughter in a car accident this year. Thank you again for your appreciation of great music.
You say u are only about music, I beg to differ. My friend you are very much about love and honesty and a great example of how we all should be. Thank you!
Your NORTH CAROLINA IS COMING BACK FROM YOU ,especially when are watching HANK Williams Jr sing A country Boy Can Survive. The music is fantastic . WE DO have some great musicians, not so many anymore ,but I am getting older and it's not like it was. Everyday, someone else is gone. I
I saw Hank Jr. open a show for Waylon in the early 80's at the Tulsa County Fair. He opened the show by firing off a couple rounds from a 12 gauge, then ripped off his shirt and played a solo on every single instrument on the stage, guitar, drums, bass, sax......finishing on the keyboards dragging his boot up and down the keys...........then the show began.
Hank jr has so many good songs. OD’d n Denver, American way, all my rowdy friends have settled down, old habits, pressure is on, man of steel, whiskey on ice, and my favorite dinosaur.
I love that you just want to keep it about the music and what brings us together and not allowing negative and divisive politics get involved. Good job, man.
The context for the song that’s become something of an anthem makes it that much better. Nice reaction and it should always be about the music.....at least on this channel. 👌
I can tell you from an Alabama girl from way back, this is one of our favorites. It's about perseverance and learning personal responsibility and survival. You are responsible, family is responsible, community is responsible for helping out. I love this song! Example: my husband of 22 years had a blown out tire. He called the personally owned tire store 4 miles away. The guy came out, changed his tire in 30 minutes and only charged him for the tire-a whole 75 dollars. Where else outside the country do you have people do that? It's beautiful what a community can do when they help and rely on each other.
I ain’t here for the bs either. You keep up the great work cuz. I am loving this kind of stuff. My daddy bet me when I was 7 yrs old I couldn’t sing every word to this song. The best memory of my daddy was sitting on his chest singing this song without any music only me and him. We listened to it everyday for years in my dads firebird. Thank you for this
The reason he wears the sunglasses and the beard is directly related to the accident. It covers the scars. You are quickly becoming one of my favorite reactors, kudos sir!
Hank jr also has a song Ajax mountain, which talks about this tragedy!! That’s why he always wears his glasses & hat down low, because he’s insecure about the way his face looks after all the reconstructive surgery! This happened a long time ago & people weren’t out getting plastic surgery like they are now. He’s by far in my top couple favorites!! I also don’t know many country singers that don’t have a reference to Hank Sr.!!! But for sure should check out that song!!
I love hearing you say that you are just here for the music. It's certainly what I'm here for and what we all should be here for. The music unites us and isn't that what we should be hoping to achieve. Trying to stir in other things and trying to stir up some type of controversy is just wasted time and energy. Just let the music comfort us or motivate us or educate us or just plain make us happy. And let it unite us. Peace and happiness to you sir and thanks for the joy and insight you bring to me through your passion and knowledge of all this great music.
Thank you so much for your reaction to these two songs and the story. I had heard a little about Hank Jr's accident on the mountain but this brought it back. He has been though a lot. As far as I am concerned, you are what I consider Real. Thanks again.
Great song, classic for sure. Family Tradition is another one, so many... The Pressure Is On is one of my favs. Enjoy your channel brother, keep fighting the good fight! ✌️
If you want to pick on others’ shortcomings, take a look at your own first. We are all just out here trying to survive. I appreciate you! Thanks for bringing good music to us.
Like him or hate him Kid Rock and Hank are close friends and have done some cool light hearted videos together, check them out. I know seams like an unlikely air but they have a respect for each other.
Thank you SO much for taking the time to learn more about Hank Williams, Jr. and his accomplishments. His father was and was among the original country musical pioneers. I would love for you to react to a Hank Williams Sr song. Hank Jr idolized him, and rightly so.
Bro. I've been subscribed to your channel for a few months now, and I also subscribe to other folks who do this and I enjoy them all. But bro. I freaking love your attitude! How refreshing to watch and listen.... truly listen to what you have to say, social climate be damned! I love it! Please keep doing what you do for as long as you want to, I for one will continue to be a fan! 🔥🎸🇺🇸💥👍😎
His friend that died in NYC was named Mike. Sometimes he would sing Mike or Michael when singing the song live in concert. I'm not sure how many times I've seen him in concert. Over 15 for sure.
I think that Toby Keith was a perfect choice to do this Hank Williams song I think he actually sounded a little bit like Hank and I think you did it justice. Although everybody knows that The Real McCoy is the best actually I wish Toby and Hank could have been up there singing it together I just think it would have been cool
I think I remember Hank saying that his eye got knocked out of his socket, and part of his brain was exposed. The scars from the incident is why he began wearing the beard and shades.
You keep it real bro. One reason I love your channel. People need to not worry about someone’s personal life. We ALL have demons, skeletons, or whatever none of us is perfect.
Just a couple of FYI's, this a remix done for the 25th anniversary of A Country Boy Can Survive and the person playing the Harmonica on this version is none other than Stevie Wonder. Stevie also played harmonica on a Hank Jr tribute album on Outlaw's Reward, and is a longtime friend of Hank's. If you look in the crowd, you will see members of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Aerosmith, Kid Rock, Buddy Guy also played at this tribute just to show how far Hank's musical and personal relationships go. There is a video of Hank and BB King doing All My Rowdy Friends together you should check out. You don't have to react to it, but I think you would enjoy it.
Hank recorded a beautiful love before his accident, "Eleven Roses". It's beautiful and so different from his other music. Please react to it or check it out on your own.💜💜💜
I just found your channel and have become an instant fan. I love what you said...leave the salacious stuff to others because the rest of us just want to see you enjoy good music in whatever form/genre that might be. Happy to be a new sub!
Excellent video and reaction. Really enjoy your channel and your attitude towards the artists you react to. You are also on point with your beliefs and comments. Please keep these coming. Thanks!
I love your commentary. You tell us without restraint what you think and feel about the music. I'm sorry to say that the video was choppy and sucked. I checked my download speed. I WILL continue to follow you for your excellent content.
I just subscribed to your channel and thoroughly enjoyed both artists. I love your stance on music, I love to listen to a man with real values and is not afraid to express them!! Thank You
Great job man. Honest reactions to the music. That's exactly what I'm looking for. Hank has been misunderstood regarding some things he said on the spot. He has not only been through a lot, he has done a lot. First person ever (I believe) to win the CMA's Entertainer of the year award 3 straight years, Check out his "Born to Boogie" when he talks about meeting Elvis and Marilyn Monroe when he was brought to Hollywood to be in movies and all, that's all real. Just like most of his music. Stay safe and well!!
On point as always! Love it! Please react to "Family Tradition" by Hank Jr. btw, I'm sure you already know this, but the name on Jr's guitar is Bocephus and is the nickname given him by his father Hank Sr. Love & Light sir! ❤️🙏😇
There's a Film starting Richard Thomas ( John Boy from the Waltons) called Living Proof : The Hank Williams Jr. Story that follows him as a young man up until after the accident. Its based on his autobiography. I think its on RUclips, you should check it out
Hey man I'm a big Hank Jr fan & im glad to see you doing this & givin him some tribute. But I would have suggested since Toby's was a live performance i would have suggested a live performance from Hank Jr as well, not the video. Personally I think the video takes away some of the originality of the song. You can find a good live performance of this song if you utube Hank Jr on David Letterman. Just him & his guitar. Back in the day when the song was just out & he fit the bill perfectly.
This was back when Country music had real heart.
They still do brother, just gotta look hard, cause you won't find it on CMT or damn near no radio channels. Other then maybe college's. But yeah as a majority, by enlarge county music has lost its soul and went for the dough. Sold out for limelights and cash. Hank III has some really good music.

Amen brother it’s albout the music this world is all mess up about color an race it needs to be as one
I appreciate you my friend, and your determination to just enjoy the music for what it says. I've been a Hank Jr. fan since waaaayy back, and I can tell you that the segment of the population that he supposedly "represents" have been stereotyped as something we are not. A Country boy can survive!
Great analysis. Hank Jr. Is different from his father. He can still write greats songs. Sadly Hank and his wife lost their daughter in a car accident this year. Thank you again for your appreciation of great music.
Technically last year, but only a few months back.
With all the issues we have had with lock downs I guess I lost track.
You say u are only about music, I beg to differ. My friend you are very much about love and honesty and a great example of how we all should be. Thank you!
Awesome reaction, when it's about the music other things can be fixed. Music cures the soul
Toby Keith is a beautiful choice for the one to honor HANK JR. with his song

I liked the original song better ... it has more feeling to it. And you are right ... it is all about the music!!!!
Marvelous tribute to Bocephus aka Hank Jr.
As much as I love Toby, That's Hanks song, only he can really give it heart.
Great reaction.
Life is strange, but Hank Jr needed that in a weird way. He now was allowed to become the singer he is now doing it his way
The context for the song that’s become something of an anthem makes it that much better. Nice reaction and it should always be about the music.....at least on this channel. 👌
I'm so glad you put these together. Toby did a great job in tribute, but the pace felt off. And jr just had a way of making a statement with this one.
Hanks a true showman
Me Too, it’s about the music and you know when it’s right, it’s music to the ear🎵
Can't beat the Old stuff!
Amen Drama , well said about Hank Jr , loved seeing him in concert 3x. were all 3 exactly the same but you got the true hank in all 3
I can tell you from an Alabama girl from way back, this is one of our favorites. It's about perseverance and learning personal responsibility and survival. I love watching your reactions. Your right it is about the music and you know music. Thank you for your reactions
Thank you for this
Toby Keith a great one too
I had not heard the intense details either. What a brave young boy.
Hank has a slew of hits. Hard to classify the best but this one in top 5 no doubt. The fox in Atlanta in the 80s brings back memories.
Bocephus in the house.
One of this Country Girls favorite songs. And Toby Keith could make me weak in the knees singing twinkle twinkle little star 😊 Hank is amazing😁
This isn't talked about on modern ' country 'stations ' . But then, history isn't taught these days.
LOVE YOU, AND YOUR REACTIONS!! THANK YOU!!! ❤❤❤
The reason he wears the sunglasses and the beard is directly related to the accident. It covers the scars. You are quickly becoming one of my favorite reactors, kudos sir!
Its a great song. Both artists are great... but this is Hanks' song. You can tell it meant something.
Seen Hank Jr in concert he's amazing. That's why he always has a beard because of his accident.
The hat and sunglasses too.
AMEN!!
Classic country music right here.
I love hearing you say that you are just here for the music. It's certainly what I'm here for and what we all should be here for. The music unites us and isn't that what we should be hoping to achieve. Trying to stir in other things and trying to stir up some type of controversy is just wasted time and energy. I thought I knew the story, but hearing it first hand, gotta admit, made me cry! Love your reactions!💜
Great song, classic for sure. Family Tradition is another one, so many... The Pressure Is On is one of my favs. Enjoy your channel brother, keep fighting the good fight! ✌️
Could do a double vid on that one too ----- Hanks and the one with Kid Rock on Crossroads
You are always so immersed in every song and the meaning behind every word. :) That is why you are the best reactor.
there are some songs by Hank Williams Jr that i think you would love like "Montegremy in the rain" or "Feelin Better". Both of them are great songs.
I love both, thank you for sharing both of them singing.
If you want to pick on others’ shortcomings, take a look at your own first. We are all just out here trying to survive. I appreciate you! Thanks for bringing good music to us.
Did you know that Blake Shelton's Ol'Red is actually a cover of a George Jones song? And that Kenny Rogers covered it, too?
Shoutout for Hank's "that's how we do it in dixie"...
Like him or hate him Kid Rock and Hank are close friends and have done some cool light hearted videos together, check them out. I know seams like an unlikely air but they have a respect for each other.
The message is brilliant and the writing is down right awesome. If you can tell a story while you sing, just wow
What a classic! I've been listening to Hank Jr for decades & I never knew that about him! (Google much? 😆) Ha, learn somethin' new everyday.
I loved this video, some history of Hank and I also enjoyed Toby's performance but no one can beat Hank Jr. (Bocephus)
I love your philosophy, I love your outlook and I love your channel.
You keep being genuine and real, that's what makes you so cool.
great reaction. I always heard Hank Jr. keeps the beard to cover the scars on his face. All in Alabama - is his song about that day.
Thank you SO much for taking the time to learn more about Hank Williams, Jr. and his accomplishments. His father was and was among the original country musical pioneers. I would love for you to react to a Hank Williams Sr song. Hank Jr idolized him, and rightly so.
WOMAN ON THE RUN, OUTLAW WOMEN, LOVING INSTRUCTOR, FINDERS ARE KEEPERS, HEAVEN CAN'T BE FOUND, KAWLIGA, I DON'T HAVE ANYMORE LOVE SONGS.
Pure country
This was a tribute to Hank. Many of his friends performed some of his songs.Steven Tyler and Lynyrd Skynyrds were especially good!
Thank you for this reaction, there was a movie made about Hank, it included the fall and the recovery, but I don't know how accurate it was.
His friend that died in NYC was named Mike. Sometimes he would sing Mike or Michael when singing the song live in concert. I'm not sure how many times I've seen him in concert. Over 15 for sure.
So now you gotta do Hank III :-)
Looks and sounds like his granddaddy
God bless brother, ty for another great reaction!
Thanks for reacting to some old school country love Hank Williams Jr 💙
Real country boys
I think that Toby Keith was a perfect choice to do this Hank Williams song I think he actually sounded a little bit like Hank and I think you did it justice. Although everybody knows that The Real McCoy is the best actually I wish Toby and Hank could have been up there singing it together I just think it would have been cool
Love this song!
All I can say is..... Thank ya Brother for doin this one 🤠🤘🏼
Pink Slip Blues by Hank Williams Jr. Is also a good one
Should watch the video of Hank sr and Hank jr. There's a tear in my beer.
Agreed. It still gives me chills to this day
I think I remember Hank saying that his eye got knocked out of his socket, and part of his brain was exposed. The scars from the incident is why he began wearing the beard and shades.
SO glad you followed up with the original! Thx again for all the great music, genres and reactions!
Damn !Well done Toby ! Thanks for reaction Drama ! Not the og but close enough .
I heard about Hanks fall but didn’t know the extent of it until this video. This was crazy to hear how bad it was.
This song was a staple at the bon fires and field party's we had back in High School. Good memories.
You keep it real bro. One reason I love your channel. People need to not worry about someone’s personal life. We ALL have demons, skeletons, or whatever none of us is perfect.

His face had to be reconstructed and his skull was exposed. He grew the beard and wears the hat and sunglasses to help hide the scars.
That's awesome how u played both versions of this great song. Love your channel, thx for your videos
Glad you like them!
Hank recorded a beautiful love before his accident, "Eleven Roses". It's beautiful and so different from his other music. Please react to it or check it out on your own.💜💜💜
You have an open mind! 😊
Thanks!
Hank Jr.'s song, "All in Alabama" is about that mountain incident. Love that song too.
I love your commentary. You tell us without restraint what you think and feel about the music. I'm sorry to say that the video was choppy and sucked. I checked my download speed. I WILL continue to follow you for your excellent content.
Love Family Tradition too
I just subscribed to your channel and thoroughly enjoyed both artists. I love your stance on music, I love to listen to a man with real values and is not afraid to express them!! Thank You
Bocephus has led a life only others can dream about...or nightmares. Tragedy throughout his lifetime.
Well said.
Love these reactions!
You're the best
Thank you great video. I had never seen this before! Be safe!!!
All my rowdy friends are coming over tonight it was was later made the theme for Monday night football
As always, enjoyed your reaction and the music. It should always be about the music as you so aptly put it. Keep up the great work.
Blues Man is one of my favorite songs. You should check out Hank's original and the version by Alan Jackson!
On point as always! Love it! Please react to "Family Tradition" by Hank Jr. btw, I'm sure you already know this, but the name on Jr's guitar is Bocephus and is the nickname given him by his father Hank Sr. Love & Light sir! ❤️🙏😇

I love Hank Williams, if you can could you react to pink slip blues by hank
Hey man I'm a big Hank Jr fan & im glad to see you doing this & givin him some tribute. Nice. A great country singer is Lefty Frizzell whose Long Black Veil and If You’ve Got the Money are worth reacting to.
