Kristina, your Mom was so young and dying so close to her birthday causes me to be so concerned for your heart. So glad these channels keep you going during the hard times.They also help me because I am 82 and am slowing down and keeps me engaged.
Jami, I hope you see this. Lester needs a pkg of cheap paper plates to feed Barnadette at JL North. She is having trouble eating out of the cans and it could damage her whiskers. I am sure you are the primary shopper. I mentioned it in comments on one of his videos. Then put the plates in his truck so they actually get to JL North.
I'll try to send you some sun from Lubbock. We have it for the next week. And here it's one big ass dry lot. We lived in the Hill county for the last 3 years and I can't stand that humidity. It was like that when I lived in Wisconsin all my life. Love it in Lubbock! Retirement is awesome. 90 feels like 80 and the breezes are awesome.

I see that you talked about Ivy and medicating her hoof, etc. you also said you would need to wrap it up to keep the medication on her toe area/hoof. You may have seen it but if not on Amazon they have “hoof soaking boot horse soaker hooves treatment bags” sold by yeezo. Maybe this would be easier , it has straps to keep it shut. Always happy to see Lester and Jami together on a live. I actually feel sorry for them when they are alone on the different properties. I totally understand the reasoning behind it, but as someone who has no choice but to always be alone all the time, I like seeing them together. They may need to wear Life Alerts when apart during the week. Life is funner and gooder when you spend it with those you love and care about.

You definitely need way more muffins for them. Waylon needs some barrels unless you already have them and maybe a huge red ball and maybe a couple of punching bags. I love that they all come up to their daddy for muffins.
Dry lotting may be sad since it’s natural for horses to graze, but the pain of laminitis is worse. Been through it with mine. Usually triggered by high sugar in grass. A grazing muzzle for Voo may be an option someday. Check with Courtney or dr C. But for now, keeping Voo with ivy in dry lot is probably the best idea.
