I did in fact do this before I knew it was even a thing. I was at an arcade in a tourist town and I was like "what if I just drop this" did it and won 1500 tickets. It was so lit.
Yes it works, me and my dad went to Chuck E. Cheese for my cousin’s birthday party and we spend at least an hour on the game. Not only did it work once’s but twice! So it depends on the angle you drop it at, because we try doing it for a third time but it didn’t work and we just moved on.
When I used to work at an entertainment center we had one of these. We modified the settings to change the level of force needed after ever jackpot payout, so you couldn’t run us out of house and home😂
You can configure the controller of most arcade games to affect timings, precision, sensitivity, and just about any functional part of the game. Even variable win rates aren't out of the realm of possibility.
It's actually worked for me a few times before. It's true that the strings are different sizes though so you really got to get the right one for it to work.
I saw a kid at main event drop the hammer and it landed the jackpot on wack n win and I remember I was like maybe that does actually work then I realized he could do that cause the arcade has it set to a certainty strength where you can do that so it works yes and no but mostly no
As a games attendant, it works depending on machine, we have two and this hack only works on one, usually it has the highest jackpot from intentionally losing to rack up the prize. One is less sensitive than the other so everyone uses the one where the hack works.
I went to an arcade and there were two of these right next to each other and I trued both. One I barely hit and it went up half way and the other it went past the top. So yes there are different settings. 😂
Id like to propose that it could still work only because you tried it on one machine. Like you said, machines can vary. Its maybe a play once and test it, but its not to be expected.
I have a story to tell believe it or not. One time when I was 12 I was at my friends bday party and we went to this machine first. I was really weak and skinny at the time and I thought you just had to hit it as hard as you could and it wouldn’t matter. So, with all my strength I slammed it and got the jackpot first try.
Even if doing this doesn't work exactly, if you have a long string dropping it can make it easier to find the jackpot. You can drop it from a certain height and if you need less or more strength you can adjust
I’ve used this hack at other arcades. Usually the machines with shorter strings work better because they are less sensitive and you don’t have to put any force into the drop
This actually does work, however like you pointed out the length of the string and the settings in the game affect the output I've done this before and I've gotten it on my first try. So yeah, it's most likely not a guarantee but it's probably the best approach to this game.
Most of the games in an arcade or something like that can have their probabilities changed. Something one of my managers taught me when I worked at incredible pizza
So it does work, Ive done it multiple times before, however, its the string that varies the results. If its the short string like the original, it WILL work. But some machines have longer strings to now combat this hack so you HAVE to find the right strength to hit the jackpot. So its not cap, it just varies with how long the string is.
I legit did this before knowing it was an actual hack, it literally landed PERFECTLY on the jackpot, but then a solid 5 seconds later it went down by ONE
I remember maybe 1-2 years ago i was doing that game and everybody knows I’m weak since how skinny i am and when i had hit it i had hit the jackpot and i was so surprised along with other people. Nice cute moment 😊
I know of at least one place that has signs up saying not to drop the hammer like this. It's been some years since I was there, but I believe they have at least one camera pointed at the game or in the general area to catch anyone doing this or doing anything to try and get an advantage in this game or other games, and there's definitely a staff member always watching the cameras. I believe in other places they'll kick you out if they catch you doing something like this too. If anyone's thinking of trying this don't be surprised if you're kicked out or even banned from a place for doing this.
This is like when I played that one game. It was a game where you hit a plunger and a spinner arm with a weight on the end spins around and you have to get the spinner to rotate a certain number of times without going over to win the ticket jackpot. Realizing these were calibrated more for a kid's strength, with just a jerk of my wrist, I tapped the mallet onto the plunger. I won that jackpot, too!
My dad figured this out before the hack was popular. He spent a ton of time at the hammer game, and figured out that he had to hold the hammer a certain angle from his shoulder
Ex-Round One employee here, there is a "hack" which is dropping the hammer a specific distance which will get the jackpot 90% of the time, but the string length is completely arbitrary, and if the arcade makes them too short they are doing it on purpose to prevent the drop method.
I've actually done it as a joke and it did work but finding the sweet spot is the secret to winning it. The round one close to me actually put the game up after I won multiple major prizes from them. Got me a switch and a ps4 fight stick. Plus a bunch of other things as well.
I actually tried this at my local arcade and from what I’ve seen, it does work depending on how the machines calibrated, mainly it’s the ones that have shorter strings however I did notice some variation from drops of the exact same matter so it is rigged as too not give jackpots every time
I actually saw a employee doing this bc the place wasn't packed out and he was bored, it worked-
I'm sure they probably either change it every so often so u can't just come every day and destroy them or they seen the videos lol
I did it and it worked but i tried 5 times until I got the jackpot
Na that was just him setting the thing
@@maxgreer2575 they don't. I used to work in one. if it works one time, it'll work again and again and again
It probably works, but only for some machines
I did in fact do this before I knew it was even a thing. I was at an arcade in a tourist town and I was like "what if I just drop this" did it and won 1500 tickets. It was so lit.
Epik moment indeed 🤩🤩
“Enjoy your Spider-Man rubber young king .“
Did the same thing and it worked
Top things that never happened
CAP
Really depends on how it's calibrated. Found one where you just had to drop it from fist height, and ended up winning around 8k tickets
669th like lol
Dang
I work at an arcade and we purposefully shortened the string bc hq heard about this and told us to💀
In my arcade they crank up sensitivity so a micro hit is enought to get jackpot

I managed to win this one by dropping it and *ever* so slightly using my hand to push it. Copped 1.6k.
My brain seeing this:*imagination of Hitting it very hard that it breaks*
LOL
I did this first try maybe try putting the hammer lower because the string was the same size as this one so I did it lower and got it
same
My arcade has a small string so I don't have to worry.
The Dave and busters near me shortened the string for this reason
it does work at my arcade so it really is just the string i think cause it works 7/11 of the times I've done it
I like step 2 and 3. Very detailed and informative.
him: dropping in
me: climbing up and jumping on it
edit: wow ive never got this many likes

It Actually Works I'm At the arcade now 💀
I did this and it worked. The reason is that you won so the game doesn’t let you win again for a while so you don’t get too many tickets
Me and a friend tried this at Round 1, and closest we got was one space off from the jackpot.
I saw a kid at main event drop the hammer and it landed the jackpot on wack n win and I remember I was like maybe that does actually work then I realized he could do that cause the arcade has it set to a certainty strength where you can do that so it works yes and no but mostly no

We love you Matt!

🤣
I have a few on my route - if it's set to default settings, and the string length hasn't been changed, it works very often.
I have gotten it to work befor, must be some good luck.
It mostly depends on machine. The owner can calibrate the force required.
I actually was able to only do this once but could never do it again
Him. "I couldn't do it so obviously the other video is cap"
BRUH
He legit explained everything too 💀
He literally replicated the experiment 💀
I've done this too and it didn't work once. Depends on the arcade, string length, and the payout settings of the machine
Hacksmith! We need your machinery

so the machine is rigged or you are just weak
@@shrekshrekno I was just lucky because my stronger friend hit it and he failed
*gets the jackpot multiple times*
"Doesn't work, its cap guys"
He also doesn’t hit it. It’s not 100% successful
I’ve done this a few times and on one game you had to give it a little push for it to work
I just keep tapping it until it reaches the jackpot 😂
What do you mean? It only allows one hit, right?
@Short Asian kid it worked for me. I got jackpot both times 😂
@@blueiswonderful no it can be hit once or multiple times if you trick the system
Zone 28: let's name our company Zone 28. That one worker: nah let's name it area 52
I just had an epiphany, hold only the string and spin like Thor's hammer then slam it with all your might.
It actually does work it might take a couple trys but it mainly depends on the angle it falls on
the arcade near me has one of these but the string is too damn short
This is the only arcade RUclipsr in existence who’s actually truthful
I've actually done this a few times in a row, then the arcade got smart and shortened the string

Being a nerd is a good thing I love how you dance btw you are beautiful ✨
in chuck e cheese i went two days ago the hammer is to short so i just just my fist got it 3 times
i did it with a similar string length as the original vid and it worked
I did it and it actually worked after a few tries
Lmao it actually worked for me at my Dave and busters, 3 times in a row and employees just laughed at the jackpot 😂
The ultimate mic drop challenge
It actually works you just need to tilt it 45 degrees
the arcade he's at in this video is only a couple minutes away from me
He wasn't clickbaiting, it was just that in his arcade it works

I've done this before and I've gotten it on my first try. So yeah, it's most likely not a guarantee but it's probably the best approach to this game.
Hopefully to make it fair, the ones with the short strings have a more sensitive button, and the longer stringed ones have a less sensitive button.
Most of the games in an arcade or something like that can have their probabilities changed. Something one of my managers taught me when I worked at incredible pizza

the builder of the machine : lol ima set it to like 5% chance of getting it
I'm pretty sure the owners can set how often the jackpot is won so you can't win sometimes.
i won this once by not even wacking but having the stck above the hit marker and slapping the stik
was a very kool moment for me B)
I did this 3 times in a row it does works

How to win the hammer arcade
*Imagine the target is the thing u hate the most n release ur anger until that arcade turn to dust*

I've gotten this hack to work during my last vacation. Its worth at least a shot in some of these arcades.
This is actual science: you have to hit it on the end to get the max amount of power because it's kinda like a catapult
The Dave & Buster's that I go to the hack always work
Idea: Slam it with force and.letting go at the same time. (Like throwing.)
Also once the string reaches the peak the amount of extra force can cause tension which could could lead to different outcomes
Fun fact:swinging the hammer so fast and smack the button can probably break the game
I found the sweet spot on how to do it so I'm good
I remember that. I remember the first time winning this gameI was lik, was super happy.
I remember someone hitting it so hard that the button got stuck into the machine
That game is also one of those games where the payout rate is decided by the operator
It does to work I did at arcade at Chuck-E-Cheese in 100% works but not all the time though🎉😢
At my arcade I did this 3 times in a row and when I told someone else about why also got it first try
