I live in the area with lot of speed bums and car thuds a lot if I go over them even with a moderate speed. Can these help in reducing that thud? and also, do they change the highway drive behavior? Thanks Eknath g. Upsizing is a very small topic that's why no video on it. A single tyre comparison tool on Google can tell you the difference. You shouldn't increase 3% in the diameter of the tyre while upsizing. Input your stock size and desired size and it will tell the percent difference

I have a MG ZS and my problem is.. there is lot of movement inside the car when driven over potholes. Does it mean that the car has a stiff suspension? Soft is when car absorbs bumps well at slow speeds, suspension doesn't make much sound but at a higher speed, the suspension bounce over undulating roads. Stiff is opposite, feels hard at lower speeds but at higher speeds, it feels flatter over bumps and undulating roads. Now judge which type of suspension ZS has and select accordingly. If the movement is more at low speeds, buffers won't help much. Subscribe if you haven't already 🙃
Please dont ever go under the car when it is resting only on the jack. That's deadly dangerous.. You'd get crushed if the jack fails or slips from its position. Please put the car on stands or on old tyres once u jack up the car so that it is safe even if the jack fails.

Yes, the suspension noise will reduce but ride quality will feel better when the car is loaded with passengers. With one guy, it wont feel much different

My question is (1) Does it increase ride and handling, (2) increase ground clearance as swift has 163mm GC,(3) is it reliable and safe product for highway running. No issues on highways and you'll not face GC issues with 4 people and luggage. But with a single person, you'll feel the suspension becoming a bit stiffer hence it will reduce the cushion effect a bit.

When i tie snow chains, the chains touch the shower metal part! Also due to this less space between tyre and shocker i cant even upgrade my tyre size! Don't get bigger tyres, get all terrain or mud terrain tyres. And if you want to then invest in a nice lift kit. These two things will make your suv a very capable off roader.

It's good on highways when you go over bumps with some speed. I would still recommend as overall the suspension feels less crashy over potholes but it works better when you have more than 2 people sitting inside
Nice ! I have tuv300 with 70 kg rooftop camping tent & 30kg kitchen shelf at back . To avoid Body roll at bumps is the main intention. Will it work . Btw what do u mean by ur crash terminology.?
Yes it works in reducing body roll. You should try it. Crash terminology means that when suspension travel is over, it transfers the shake into the cabin creating a loud thud inside. It reduces that as well.

Sorry to reply late but I have explained it in the video. Some cars have less suspension travel from factory and at larger bumps or full load, the travel (range) of suspension is reduced transferring shocks through the chassis. By coming in between, it doesn't let the suspension bottom out, that's why it works better on big potholes, high speed movements and with proper 3-4 people load where most OEM suspension fails to provide adequate comfort
Hi, i have a almost new Ciaz 2021 model which has a very soft suspension, it does touches from the bottom at times on higher speed breakers or bumpy roads and also presses down when fully loaded with passengers and luggage. So do think it will resolve these problems and increase the ground clearance without any visible discomfort? Kindly advise
It's possible that after installing this, the ride will feel a bit stiff when you drive alone but it will definitely solve the fully loaded issue as it increases laden GC.

@@DriveShrive Thank you for the suggestion, i was checking in local market all mechanic were suggesting to install normal buffer pad instead of cushion buffer, reason is : cushion will not increase height, life is less and car will produce sound in bumpy road. Bit confused. My only requirement is : car should not bump into speed breakers when loaded.
That's why I included this topic as they have normal pads available which don't have any cushioning property. Install these cushions are they do increase the height a bit but the main thing is, the ride height won't get very low when passengers are loaded. I have installed in Honda City and they don't make a sound, suspension feels more solid over bumps and it doesn't bottom out. Perfect for sedans

I have a 2015 city which has a very stiff suspension and going over rough patches of roads feels very uncomfortable due to sound and rattles, will this solve that or make it worse?
I have Honda City 2018 petrol CVT. I tried this solution but the ride became stiffer. Honda reduced suspension travel to prevent floor touching on speed breakers and body roll. These bushes further reduce suspension travel thereby making the suspension feel stiffer. Ultimately I had to take them out. May be you try softer tyres and lesser air pressure.
can i install them for my eon 2015 model. suspensions never changed till date, running is 85000km, single handed, rest of condition is great. I do feel car swaying away on speed breakers (could be handle issue m not sure). I am certainly going to change just want to know what advantages will these give if any. Thanks in advance
Main advantages are your suspension will not bottom out with load. You should definitely try them as the car sways when tyres loose contact from surface due to bounce which they should avoid. You can also return them if they dont fit your purpose. Let me know how they did after installing, I always look for user reviews

Ohh, I understand. They tuned the suspension in 2022, it doesn't improve the ride with 1-2 people but it will definitely help when you travel with 3-4 people and luggage. You will still feel the bumps but the suspension won't crash on potholes after this. Also, installing Michelin primacy or Continental UC6 tyres will help a lot if you're running stock tyres which are shit

My car sways on highway(due to extremely soft suspension and raised height by design) specially during crosswinds and when a truck/bus passes by. Alignment/balancing is all done, tyres are also brand new. Can these buffers help in this problem?
Very peculiar problem. You can install them and try if they work. They will reduce the vertical bounce for sure. You can return them and get your money back apart from the installation cost but that's the bare minimum.

@DriveShrive I have Swift VDI 2012 model. Now its 11 yrs old. Suspension changed after 6 yrs of use. But as you know that, Suspension of Suzuki cars feels like "is it there or not"😅. At present it is very hard..so will this buffers be effective.?
Ciaz has very soft comfortable suspension when it's new but it deteriorates very quickly and become 'rough' as you're saying. Definitely try this on Ciaz and let me know the review

The cushion needs some space between coils to install and notice that top/bottom part of the spring has the least space between coils

Brezza ride quality is decent as per my experience, does the suspension get better when going faster on highways?

@@DriveShrive Thank you for the suggestion, i was checking in local market all mechanic were suggesting to install normal buffer pad instead of cushion buffer, reason is : cushion will not increase height, life is less and car will produce sound in bumpy road. Bit confused.
My only requirement is : car should not bump into speed breakers when loaded.
That's why I included this topic as they have normal pads available which don't have any cushioning property. Install these cushions are they do increase the height a bit but the main thing is, the ride height won't get very low when passengers are loaded. I have installed in Honda City and they don't make a sound, suspension feels more solid over bumps and it doesn't bottom out. Perfect for sedans

I have Honda City 2018 petrol CVT. I tried this solution but the ride became stiffer. Honda reduced suspension travel to prevent floor touching on speed breakers and body roll. These bushes further reduce suspension travel thereby making the suspension feel stiffer. Ultimately I had to take them out. May be you try softer tyres and lesser air pressure.
can i install them for my eon 2015 model. suspensions never changed till date, running is 85000km, single handed, rest of condition is great. Main advantages are your suspension will not bottom out with load. You should definitely try them as the car sways when tyres loose contact from surface due to bounce which they should avoid. You can also return them if they dont fit your purpose. Let me know how they did after installing, I always look for user reviews

Redi-go has decent ride quality when I drove it but you can install them as it can be returned afterwards if you ship them yourself

Ohh, I understand. They tuned the suspension in 2022, it doesn't improve the ride with 1-2 people but it will definitely help when you travel with 3-4 people and luggage. You will still feel the bumps but the suspension won't crash on potholes after this. Also, installing Michelin primacy or Continental UC6 tyres will help a lot if you're running stock tyres which are shit

Very peculiar problem. You can install them and try if they work. They will reduce the vertical bounce for sure. You can return them and get your money back apart from the installation cost but that's the bare minimum.
