I love dollar tree ! I like to buy foil sheets for cooking/wrapping. Pre-cut, no waste. Also, sponges with a scrubber side in a two-pack. Wet wipes, tissues, mouthwash,; so many great products. Mine is next to the market, so I take my grocery list and start there. How about a video in gift baskets from Dollar Tree? Or items to donate?

Great products at DT!! #1 is a notebook with pocket for receipts. I keep one in my car to keep them organized.
A few things I love: The broom and dust pan with a handle! I put a broom in my car for the winter to get snow off the roof of my car. I use the dust pan and broom all over my house, no sore back from bending over. Magic eraser sponges. Cutting pads in the kitchen section. The ice scoop. Measuring cups and spoons. I always loose them anyway, why not loose ones that cost $1. The plastic serving pieces in the party section. I use them for book club, and holiday gatherings. They are pretty and I can hand wash them, they last a while! Paper plates and napkins in the party section for fun, festive gatherings. Pens. Some are cheap, but with a kid in the house that loses everything, the cheap pens are it until he moves out and I can keep track of my nice pens. Notebooks as you said. Planners!!!! I love their planners/calendars. Ok, I will stop now, but there are so many more things!

In the kitchen supply stuff the red Betty Crocker spatulas and cooking spoons are the bomb! You cannot bend them or break them. Great to take along for salads and holiday meals

So many things here that I use, too! First, I've experienced the cheap dishwasher powder disappointment. No fun.
This past Christmas I made a trip to the Dollar Tree (actually I made a second trip for more...) and bought gift wrap--saved me a bunch of money!
Years ago I used to have a couple of cleaning gigs to make a few bucks and I was surprised that some people only had one toilet brush for multiple bathrooms. It's one thing to haul your own toilet scrubber through the house...but a very different thing to haul a someone else's. LOL

Yes! I am a notebook addict. Sometimes one will catch my eye as I'm shopping and I tell myself I already have enough, it always makes it into my shopping trolley! Ha, ha, ha.

I get the 3 inch tall 2 inch wide candles at the Dollar Tree and then I put them in a pyrex Bowl underneath an upside down terracotta planter that is upon 3 small concrete bricks It's a great way to heat your room up to 160 degrees per terra cotta planter.
I buy 90% of my family and myself personal items, cleaning products, and office supplies

I get my Christmas wrap when it goes on clearance after the holidays. The value is way better because you get so much more on the roll. I do get my other gift wrap at Dollar Tree though. love the greeting cards at Dollar Tree. I get boxed milk there and sometimes pop.

Hi Kate! I love Dove bar soaps and I use them with exfoliating gloves. You can get the gloves at Dollar Tree, but I prefer the EcoTools brand a lot more. Yes, the Dish tabs are good, but if you have access to a Costco, the Kirkland brand is even better and will cost you about 8 cents vs 10. Toothpaste and toothbrushes are a staple there for me. I use Crest Brilliant Whitening toothpaste ( blue/purple tube), I think that’s what it’s called, and Colgate manual toothbrushes. The majority of the Totally Awesome cleaning supplies are fantastic. Gift bags and tissue paper for them are a must as well. Lastly, when doing movie nights at home, I always get the “movie” candy boxes and they have the perfect popcorn 🍿 containers that are adorable! What can I say, I love the Dollar Tree 😂
I've heard a couple of plumbers say that the detergent pods are terrible for your plumbing. My sister had a terrible drain backup and the plumber told her to stop using the pods pronto.
Two tips. You can run your poof on the bar and it feels like the liquid and LEMON JUICE! We love lemon water and you can get a good sized bottle for $1. Never found it the cheap anywhere else. Oh and LA Awesome for tough cleaning jobs!
love DT for clear tape and envelopes too! And the Swiffer knock off items!
I use the dishwasher power for my soaks for white men's undershirts. Or for my cleaning hacks.

I get contact paper for getting dog hair off larger surfaces. It's much easier than a lint roller.

Came back to add that I forgot to mention. I get a reaction to chemical sunscreen and it’s in almost all chap sticks that have SPF in it. If anyone has a reaction to that check all your lip products.
Hi Kate!😃💕 One of my favorites from Dollar Tree is "Brillo Pads", I use them not only to clean my stove, but also to remove water stains from faucets, my metal sink, the water dispenser area on my fridge, any glass vase, etc. They don't scratch at all and I love them. I have a list made of staples that I usually buy, I keep this list because I don't go in there often so I can keep my super low grocery/toiletries/home items low and I'm able to stay on budget. I adore fresh notepads, notebooks and planners! I use a ledger for all financial accounts I have and one of my favorite things to do on Fridays, is open that baby up, and record my payment, balances, etc. That alone has helped me stay organized and nobody can challenge me on when I’ve paid a bill! Lol
I also have to say that my favorite deodorant is at Dollar Tree and it’s the Power Stick with the purple label. Honestly, it works better than any name brand I’ve tried plus it smells nice, to me. Awesome laundry booster is another DT fav for me. Works just as good as Oxy Clean!

So Happy to see you this a.m. 🤗 Love $ Tree. I Stock up on many of their items: razors, hand soap dispensers, name brand tissues, cards, hiusehold, food, snacks, and so much more! This store has saved me $1000's over the years. Wish we had it back in the 70's but, thank goodness we have it NOW. 😍
The cleaning brushes are a must. I also enjoy buying brooms because super cheap and the handles are fun to use for other things lol

Love the movie theater candy boxes, I normally sneak some in my bag when I go to the movies once a year!! Car windshield washing liquid, candles, dish soap, pads, panty hose, greeting cards and bags, bubble wrap, tape, envelopes, my favorite face powder from colorstay does the same job as the MAC face powder that costs $37. Dish scrubbers and brillo pads, aluminum foil, food containers, cleaning gloves, dried apricots, wipes for glasses and electronics, lighter, gum, seasonings, ketchup, alcohol, bandages, bandaid, medicated patch, pill containers, hand towels.

I'd like to start the ball rolling by asking what food items folks buy that are comparable to higher priced name brands, and request a video on that! I was so delighted to discover one day that they carry bottles of cranberry juice for $1 that are right in Market Basket for around .60 more! Someone just mentioned their graham crusts, canned pumpkin is a great one this time of year!!! Most stores charge upwards of $2 or more! And spices like oregano, etc are a great savings. I could go on and on...DT, how I love thee...

My list, I would start with the greetings cards and gift wrap, those are the gateway products that get dollar store snobs into the store. hehe Next is cleaning products, office supplies. Storage/organizing containers. Select toiletries. Crafting supplies. Seasonal decor. Movie snacks-candy & soda.

Hi Kate! I love the spiral note books too. I've already gotten my 2022 planner from dollar tree too. My favorite store.
I didn't think about trying a different dishwasher pod brand other than Cascade, but will now. I hand wash 98% of the time - have always enjoyed doing dishes 🙃, but on very busy days or if I just want/need a break. I like their measuring cups & measuring spoons too & whenever I attend a pot luck/picnic (not since COVID) I always take my food item in a serving dish from dollar tree & with a utensil to serve it with. I don't have to worry about leaving it or if I leave while others are still there they can still enjoy any food left without me rushing to pack it up when I'm leaving.
YAASSS! Same! I end up hand washing mostly, but some days...AHHHHH!!!!
I love spiral notebooks too and use them to write my shopping lists in 😀 A wonderful selection of items Kate and I'll think of "MILK" every time I leave my house now!!
My local store carries 2 or 3 packs of toothbrushes, sometimes known names. There are off brand and single packs too, but the brand name multipacks are the way to go! They also carry some name brand body washes (Arm + Hammer and Softsoap plus others). It can be used in the shower or I reuse a foaming hand soap container and fill it half with shower gel, half with water, and it makes a great, cheap hand soap.
They also have cheap Glad freezer bags. The off brand aluminum foil is decent. The drain cleaner is top notch so I always keep a couple of containers on hand. Not a fan of the laundry detergent though.
My favorite is Vaseline lip and brushes I am buying too all the time

I loved the pumpkin! We never have anything that nice at our dollar store! I do get most things you talked about! You can use bar soap on a bath pouf and it will suds up depending on the bar. Great video!

I get my notebooks from DT too, that I use for my daily/monthly/yearly finances. I also love a fresh new one. I get my night lights from there too. I keep one in the hallway bathroom. I buy a lot at DT, its not the dollar store, its the $50 store for me :) tfs 🥰🎃🍃🍂🍁🎃🌞🌛✝️🥰🎃🍃🍂🍁🎃🌞🌛✝️

I hang two night lights in front of a mirror and that illuminates the 2 rooms enough for watching tv. I moved a bed and recliner and a TV into the kitchen where there is also a thermostat and I only heat a 12 by 17 foot area

Thx, Kate. Just the smile I needed this morning. I buy all of these things. Something I stocked up on in case they raise prices are the “ damp rid” containers that take moisture out of the air. I use them in my basement and they work great! Also stickers and craft supplies.
I’ve seen the little Vaseline container like the big one they have and it’s always better to use Vaseline on your lips than any other lip balm out there

My absolute favorite items from Dollar Tree are the cotton rounds and the drain rooter tool. The cotton rounds, in my opinion, are better than the Walmart generic and even the name brand product. The drain rooter tool is amazing at getting hair and grossness out of shower drains and (if you can stand to clean it for reuse) will last for a long time.

I use flapover noteblocks to mealplan that I also use as grocerylist on the lower part of the paper. After shopping I put it up on the fridge for the week with a magnet. Next week I'm use the other side😬😅
The food containers are useful for Leftover pasta (salade), yoghurt with fruit mixed or soup to take along. especicially the microwavable if there is a microwave at work in wintertime. Used the container for crisps to take to the movie,( instead of buying expensive mini portion bag)

Happy frugal Friday Kate and K squad! Some of the items I use on your list when I go to dollar tree is the lighter and gift wrapping and greeting cards! I want to try the nightlight and dial bar soap! Something I usually grab there is batteries! I use AA, AAA batteries, D batteries and a little rectangular batteries which I use for my smoke detector which lasted about two or three years at a time! Awesome video! I love this video! I have found something from CVS *was about $1-ish when I bought them* that’s even better than a pouf (but same material) that is AMAZING & it’s EASY to use on your back (like a towel ~ it’s shaped like a towel but not as wide, but very long). I’ll see if I have any new ones left & let you know the name/name brand. Not all are created equal. Tried getting some that looked like it off of Amazon & those are seriously scratchy. Might be good for pedicures though lol.
I always get holiday containers for my baked goods there. I always purchase metal trays for potluck gatherings. And the small aluminum tray when my grease drips catcher (lol don’t know what it’s official name is) on our grill. Any my Sunday paper I get on Monday for $1…I’m only getting it for the coupons.
