Similar happened to me. 12 years gone. We were good until she started a new job managing a gym which I wasn’t too sold on then boom started a relationship with a co worker 5 months in. I found out. Kicked her out before she could monkey branch clean on me. I put my house in a trust, under my mother’s name. That’s the only thing that saved me. But yeah the mental battle is the hard thing. Still navigating that. 6 months later.
