I ❤ the natural look as well as a more sophisticated one on you. You always end up looking beautiful whether you spend 5 min or 45 min on your makeup application. Watching you put makeup on is a ME moment, it’s a very relaxing experience… usually 😂
Oh girlfriend! I am impressed! I can’t even get my eyebrows done in 6 minutes. When you have very thin, sparse and uneven eyebrows it takes a while to get them to look right. I think I am also a perfectionist and I truly enjoy the process of putting my makeup on. So, I always allow myself time to be able to take my time to get it right. You did a great job in 6 minutes and look beautiful as always!❤
You made it! And did great too. I have to say I’ve seen your regular makeup and looks with less makeup and I love this look! Without the eye shadow and liner your lashes really show up more and it makes your eyes look bigger. It’s hard for us gals who really like makeup and the whole process of doing our makeup but as we age the less makeup we wear the younger we look. Thank you for this video, you looked fresh, young and this look made your eyes pop. 😊

I often do a "quick," light makeup application, and it often takes more than 5 minutes! Like you, I do love the process! In addition and in my defense, I'm over 60 and some things just require more time and attention!
And, just fyi, when at my last dermatology appointment, my doctor told me she recommends we throw away our 10x magnifying mirrors, since we are never seen that closely! Of course, I'll never do it, but it helps me just to keep that in mind!
I have to have a magnifying mirror or I can't see myself . I wear glasses so when I take them off I need all the help I can get ❤
Wow Sharalee, you did it and I must say you look really pretty. It’s such a softer look than I know you like. But it’s really pretty. Your eyes really pop without all the eyeshadows and eyeliners. Im wanting to try a powder foundation, but my skin is dry and dehydrated so I’m a bit doubtful about them. Love the color of lipstick( I know you’ve worn it before) love it. Now, will you go out with such little makeup on, or did you wash it off and start over? lol. That was a huge challenge for you, but you nailed it. And Gracie was cheering you on. lol. Thank you for sharing. That was fun.

I think my hurry up and get out the door makeup is more like 10 minutes. I agree it is a good thing to keep in the back pocket, but I absolutely prefer to take my time. Of course, I hate any kind of rushing. My maddie muffin scratches like that when she wants food, she is a wee thing, but demanding. I love hearing Gracie making her thoughts known. 😂

Oh my gosh! Only you can do make up and that short of time and still look like you have spent hours on it! It is the perfect look for Summer. I have been working on looking fabulous in five minutes for the summer months as well. Most days during summer. since I’m not teaching, I will spend on my back porch enjoying life. Of course I have to have something on my face so I can do a look around five minutes. I’d say it’s a win-win! Have I done it yet? However, I am going to master that art! Who are you??? Sharalee using bronzer on her eyes!! Yes, that’s a very easy, out the door makeup look. I also am not one to do my makeup in 5 or 6 mins! I’ll take my time because I enjoy doing my makeup. That must be an 80s girl thing! I was very sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. I was on vacation and missed that news until I just saw your last video. Sending you and your family prayers, and healing white light to comfort you during this time. ❤
Yes, Sharalee, this is almost my daily makeup when I golf and want to get out the door quickly. My changes would be to use a tinted SPF., tight line my eyes with an eye crayon. I use a face palette like yours and a double ended brush. Bronzer and blush on face, bronzer on eyes and use finger for the highlighter on the movable lid. Mascara (ELF extndR) and lip crayon on lips. Done! Works for me and no smudges. I appreciate that this is difficult for you - extra time for blended concealer/foundation for over 1 minute. Thanks for the video.

I am slow & it takes me about 20-30 minutes to complete my makeup but I sip coffee and take my time. I’m so sorry to hear about your mother. My condolences. Sending my thoughts & prayers to you✨
I love this look. I’ve been into the way French women wear their make up and they don’t wear so much like we do here. I used to wear more eye makeup and Liza Minnelli in Cabaret but now at this age, I’ve had to tone down everything.
You look great!!!! Since I work from home now I keep it very minimal. I do a tinted sunscreen, Laura Gellar baked n brighten powder foundation, little swipe of G. A. Liquid shadow , sometimes eyeliner but not always. And then mascara and lipstick/lip gloss. Having my brows microbladed has made a world of difference! I’m anxious to hear how the ND foundation holds up!

For daily wear this is perfect and looks great on you and is good for the normal woman to get through the day. Normally you create a more dramatic look that I feel is best left for special occasions or night events. I understand you are teaching us all the basic applications of many products and how to apply them and that is great. That’s the whole point of your videos. I just wonder if women are thinking that a heavier application of makeup is the norm for daily wear. Of course, it depends on your job description also. Either way, you always look beautiful!

I actually do less than that. Foundation, blush, mascara and maybe powder if needed. That’s how I get done so fast. Unlike you, I don’t enjoy the process, so want to get it done and move on. You did a good job. I was worried the last few seconds, but you got it done. 👏👏
