Jack is the most challenging new Brotato. I'll talk through the best strategies and explain my decisions so you can zap through the D5 difficulty using the previously ignored laser gun.

It’s worth noting that gentle alien and mouse are significantly more efficient as economy items on this character than any other because the boost to enemy% and the character’s -enemy% stack additively. Your first gentle alien instance on a normal character is a true +5% enemies, as you go from a base 100% to 105%, which also means +5% exp and materials. On this character you go from 25% enemies to 30% enemies, which is a 20% or 1.2x increase to enemies, exp, and materials. Of course additional gentle aliens/mice have some diminishing returns but are still very efficient. It is risky but can really snowball out of control if you are able to handle it.

Good video and had to watch after like maybe 10 tries with jack. Right pistols but not enough damage focus. Also you might want to crank up you speech volume.

I've completed almost all characters at level 5. This took 3 times more than the most difficult of them. No matter what I do the first boss kills me. Most times it starts escaping and I can take as much as 2 hits, because of course at this level I don't have enough armour/hp/regen to sustain that damage. And if I invest into defences the damage is not even close to killing the boss fast.
Done so far around 20 tries.

If you haven't conquered him yet, I found that you want to go hard into Ranged Damage/Attack Speed/Damage% up until the first elite. Your only shot against it is to ramp up your DPS hard enough to take him out quickly. There is some RNG though as the 2 elites that charge you are very hard if you don't somehow eek out a bit of SPEED to help your dodging. You really have to get the attack patterns down if you pull one of those menaces. Honestly, Jack runs are all about if you can survive the first elite. If you do, you tend to snowball thereafter pretty hard. Just remember some defense helps, but really he's meant to be a glass cannon. HP Regen and Life Steal just aren't going to tick fast enough to save from more than maybe 1 hit before you're reduced to a 1 shot. Good luck Tato!

Same here. On my winning run, I boosted Harvesting and Luck and got an Obliterator with 5 Revolvers on W12. Focused Pure damage up to W10, then I focused Dodge and Armor. Despite normally taking +Enemy items, I got to -15 Enemy items, and it was more manageable. I added Richochet for good measure, and I got up to Wave 30 because I added +Enemy items because I got tired. Fun character for sure.
