Brotato had another update and this time 2 characters were added alongside other items and changes, one of them being Streamer, the impersonification of being lazy. The more money you have, the less impactful you become and the less you move. Sounds reasonable to me. But in Brotato that causes a twist of feelings: Do I want to earn more money, or do I want to remain impactful? Surprisingly, that's very close to reality.

You can get absurdly broken with Streamer using padding and piggy bank to accrue ludicrous amounts of gold (almost or over 1 million) while using an engineering build to get around the damage and movement speed penalties. At that point, you'd have -100k damage and speed, but you'll also be unkillable because of padding. When I did it, I spent all the money I accumulated on the wave 20 shop to meme on the boss but the shop took me 20 minutes to get through.

We need to achieve some kind of meme immortality build with Padding, the Couch/Sofa, and our bonus HP from Padding and bonus Regen from the Sofa scales so exponentially nothing can harm you.
It would be boring to watch but fun to achieve.
My first impression looking at this character is that it's finally a character where % damage is really good, because it offsets how much material you can bank before suffering any penalties
As you probably noticed, getting (more) piercing and/or bounce is usually the best solution to handling a lot of enemies - much more so than attack speed, unless you have tons of pierce already. The other alternative is explosive weapons, funnily enough they scale even better off both bounce and pierce, since the explosions proc on every hit and they don't have base pierce.
The caveat is that you can only get additional pierce from a tier 3 item and bounce from tier 4, which means you don't get any say in the matter. Most ranged builds would always include at least one pierce and/or bounce if it was up to the player. Bouncing Obliterator is fun, not to mention bouncing nukes. Another huge advantage - unless that got changed - is that those stats work on (some?) other projectiles that belong to you but aren't fired by your weapons (items).
There's exceptions such as any weapon that already has (practically) infinite pierce (Flamethrower, Obliterator), or if you're dangerously low on %damage and can't afford the damage loss at the time.
For this video in particular, SMG in general is great at handling only small enemies, but you'll find them clumping up once the enemies get more HP - the SMG has rather low base damage but scales well with Ranged Damage, so if you want to use them you usually *need* a lot of +Ranged Damage. If you're either unable to or don't plan to focus on Ranged Damage, regular Pistols or a mix of guns tend to work better. It's similar to the Minigun, but less extreme.
You did focus on it for the large part, but the second problem is that while the SMG scales well with Ranged Damage, it's base stats aren't good enough for it to *actually* scale well as you go on.. at least not on lower tiers.
The pumpkins that improve your pierce damage is also huge if you can find them while running gun builds, since pretty much all of them have pierce with -50% damage. Even one bumps that up to 65%, which is a relative increase of 30% more damage for your piercing bullets. Huge for Pistols (2 pierce) and still very good for SMGs.
*Edit* Oh, and it might be obvious, but it's worth mentioning that any weapon with high attack speed scales very well with life steal.

I’m honestly having more fun with community mods that I haven’t even thought about when the next updates are coming.
I really hope the dev considers implementing a lot of things from mods in the future. This is just a fun game that I enjoy doing broken OP things with.
I had to get the character myself to realise or more I think I realised that the controller at the mouth is the logo from Pietsmiet
Community Support + Reto's Hoodie + Pacifist guy focusing in Dodge and you could potentially build enough Attack Speed to actually kill the final boss. Maybe use Miniguns? Or heck, with enough AS, you could probably rock the Sniper Guns. Would be an interesting run heh

I like how the Streamer synergized with the Turrets and with the Standing Still boni, because i always felt those are only good on 2-3 Characters.
i wonder how this character will do when you go with 6 hands and just let the material pile up for the first few rounds. then pray for padding and etsy and maybe even a piggybank.
i mean sure, you would do no damage, but you cound get to a redicilous amount of money -> a ton of hp and hp regen

We need a Handofblood that scales with Life steal
I could imagine a Hand of Blood that deals 1 damage to yourself every attack, but does much more damage than normal Hand. Since Hänno likes Harvest a lot, it should also have the Harvest of a normal Hand ofc.

If you want to maximize play engeniering style and hope for the specialitem of the saver (the padding) and the Piggy Bank to maximize HP, Armor and Money
This character would probably be more viable if it was easier to avoid gaining materials, say by having much less pickup range when moving around.
This character need Engineering and wrenches as weapons. Turrets = free armor, they not affected by anything other then engineering, so damage loss from materials amount is not a problem. 2nd this char need is Harvesting to build up exp. Well and some hp regen/dodge. Crit/damage may go negative - dont need em anyway.
Sitting around and do nothing until you realize you haven't pay your taxes and the damage goes down
+attack speed for each enemy? Do I see another Slap Fest coming in the future?

I think they made the first Elite Boss weaker so you can actually beat it

What an interesting concept! This game has just so much possibilitys, such a complex charachter must be pretty hard to balance. Hats of to the devs!
