Sorry @duckpinengineer. This is a special project and a really great entertainment space in Columbus, OH. Although it isn't official Duck Pin Bowling, we believe it gives positive exposure to the game, and providea a unique experience to guests that may not see it otherwise. Either way, it is a blast to play with a group of friends!
Can't blame you guys for something that doesn't exist anymore: real duckpin setters. There's only one new duck lane open near where I live, and it's got Pinboys. Nobody makes them anymore. Then again, those Sherman pinsetters were a Rube Goldberg nightmare anyhow. Screw up frequently.
I really wish Candlepin Sales can try to resurrect the Bowl-mor duckpin pinsetters so new centers can have at least a free-fall duckpin pinsetter to buy instead of using a string one.
Din Pin Bowling needs to evolve or die. String pinsetter eliminate 90% of the moving parts. When the ball hits the pins the release is like casting bait on a fishing reel...no drag..The string is there to only bring the pin back. Germans developed the technology 60 years ago. Extremely reliable technology.
Nice! But do you have a slower video to show us, please?
SaveD the Crew!!
This is not regulation duckpin lanes. String pinsetters are a joke. But I would say it would be a fun form of entertainment .
this is NOT duckpin bowling. This is an arcade game made to resemble duckpins. Duckpin is a real sport played on a regulation lane
Christopher Angel bowling is NOT a sport
ARCADE LANES HAD REGULATION STRING PIN MACHINES
Sorry, this isn't real duckpin bowling. String duckpin bowling is a joke. This needs to be called something else besides duckpin bowling.

Don't forget the Bowl-mor duckpin pinsetters, they looked like they didn't screw up as much as Sherman's.

Shermans are too "Rube Goldberg" to not mess up. Don't know how they became the choice of duckpin places.
