Coal fired power plants in India and abroad don't use standard voltage like 11 KV. It varies. For example, 20 KV here in 4 x 360 MW power plant. I have worked in Saudi Arabia, where Generator terminal voltage for 4 x 660 MW steam power plant was 24 KV. Earlier I had worked in 2 x 210 MW steam power plant near Nagpur - it was 15.75 KV
63kV is nowhere used in India!! It's 72.5kV! And the voltage that you have mentioned are normal system voltage. It is always a good practice to refer to the voltage as rated system voltage. (Normal voltage - 132kV, Rated voltage - 145kV)
Thanks for all your great videos. Keep up the good work!

Hello brother, what does 4 x 660MW signify and how is getting turned 24kv can you elaborate
Really appreciate your explanation
Glad it was helpful!
Sir may i know how short circuit current is obtain for selecting breaker ics n ics
Thank you for these information, your courses are very interesting plz provide more pictures how it looks like in real life.
Please make a video on " representation of fault condition" through single line diagram
Great video. Keep it up
Thanks !
At which part, substation comes into play bro brother? And what are feeders?
Thank you!
Check the numbers again in diagram. Collect more information then make a video 132kv, 63kv, 33kv, 11kv, 230v. Are the correct numbers.

It's not 63 kV but 66 kv
Thanks sir
Thanks
