Thank you so much for doing this video and for zooming in. Just purchased the Aqua Dance shower head from Amazon. Even though the instructions are very clear I honestly have no idea what I'm doing. So I just googled " Video Aqua Dance shower head installation" and a video popped up. The first video wasn't good though,the guy had his camera on the floor in the shower so you couldn't even see what he was doing.So I clicked on this one next and thank God I did because I really want to install & set up my showerhead correctly.

So helpful, I was confused on the blue circular thing,So what's the blue circle thing for? Didn't see it used or screwed in anywhere
That is plumber's tape used to seal connections from leaks

What blue piece are you talking about? That was probably the plastic cover just to protect the hose during packing.
Blue piece at time 2:03. Maybe it’s tape to put on the threads.

It still works fine but my parents don't use that one so often.
"Doesn't hurt to have an extra washer" ? Sounds like a horrible idea, you only screwed the diverter on like 1.5 threads, maybe 2 after it leaked everywhere and you tightened it.
