I love his mods, well constructed and robust. The crafting will be a new challenge for you. Makes the game more immersive if starting with a low level character
It's not a difficulty mod per se. It does incentivize end game play time to great effect, but if you stick with this mod you eventually become completely and utterly OP.
I haven't tried that rifle on this NG+, but last play through it wouldn't reload. If i dropped it on the ground and then picked it back up, it would reload.
The darkstar harness is a crafting component to upgrade using the darkstar workbenches in the lodge. With the legendary recycler, you can put all garbage items in and keep the modifiers to put on gear and weapons. You can make your own, actually decent legendaries.
This is a cool mod, but there is one that changed the game all on it's own. The module recycler for armor, weapons and misc stuff. I can customize everything now how I want it. That might be too easy, really enjoying it. I also have the DarkStar Astrodynamics - Better Flip and More Snaps for a ton more ship building options. All free mods. Happy Hunting DeanPo and All
I also love the legendary module recycler, combined with dark star mods. I have a relic pirate Corsair suit pack and helmet combo that actually competes with the trackers alliance/bounty hunter sets. Dark star mods got me back into starfield and I’m having a blast with the challenge

Thanks for the video. I've been using this mod for a while, along with the Legendary Recycler mod, and it's really well thought out. The research and crafting loop is very satisfying and perfect for endgame play.

I got this today bc I liked DarkStar Astodynamics and knew the quality would be in this mod too. After watching an earlier video of yours on the Beowulf (a weapon I totally slept on this whole time) I grabbed one out of my ship's cargo and built it up via DarkStar's manufacturing magic to the Shattering Commander's version. BUT this also has energy so it's over 2.2K combined damage. Yikes!
Does the mod do anything for the power of explosives? His tiers for weapons are Superior - Unrivaled - Relic Make sure you grab the quantum darkstar harness - you need that to craft the higher tier weapons.
The biggest downside is it doesn’t effect mod armor so you half to use the armor this mod covers or hope the other mod armor is good enough to not get you wrecked lol. Other than that yea I love it
I found that you need to put the gun back into ship inventory and pick it back up to get rid of the bug. I know that you got the gun back from ship but that's what gives the bug from my experience.
I love the DarkStar mods... For me, i think they are really about late game expansion, not early game. My level 200 character, on NG+10 is only half way to maxing out all the features of this mod. But since I'm past level 130, i can create and find Relic class weapons, and the enemies have them too, so its all that much more challenging than the vanilla game. I feel like they fit in the game, just making the progression cap double what it used to be... now i scoff at Advanced and Superior gear as being too weak ;)
I found that if you restart the game you can reload the Novastrike. It's annoying but it's a fix. A thing I've wondered about your playing, and maybe your eyes or your setup are better then mine but you never use your scanner to find enemies. I almost always pull mine up immediately just to get an idea of who is where.
His mods are the best - I found myself so involved in the research for weapon and armor mod upgrades that 8 hours passed and I had not done anything else (other than really aggravating my wife!). But I had a great time. and now my weapons slap.
That robot is he best companion yet. I'am at level 240 and two of the mods I'am using every star system is level 75 and enemies are 100% my level, so even the bugs are at 240.
You can fix the Arboron reload issue by saving, exiting out of the game, quitting the game (if on console) and reloading the game completely then open the save. Alternatively, if on console, save and then unplug the console plug it back in, turn it on and reload the save.
What! You took too much time off. Lord deanpo needs to get back in the game. When they surrounded you they made you in a meat smoke cloud! It is a fun mod I am getting use to it !

The next mod you need to try for extreme is Immersive HUD, the enemies don't show on your radar.

The Darkstar mods are top notch. I'm not using all of them, but they're all high-quality. Royal mods as well.

If you change the load order so the Vulture mod is the last thing loaded, the Arboron sniper bug disappears.

It adds two new levels to armor, unrivaled and relic, plus all armor can be customized after upgrading it to mark 2.

Exactly same thing happened to me with that sniper rifle and wouldn't reload. Disappointed again by this game.
