    The Indy car winner was a Miller chassis, the engine was by Offenhauser, not Miller.

      I think that if they beat the number of laps to be done they must continue and the one to do the most laps in 10 hour win

    12:03 "That's the famous Wilbur Shaw going over the top (flying off the banking), and he's going to rejoin the race in another car." Wow. Racing drivers back then really were like fighter pilots. Those cars were basically deathtraps, and Indianapolis back then was stupidly dangerous.

      They did, in the 20s Stutz and Chrysler were involved, though they seem to have been less active later.
