Hello, i have almost the same build as yours. But mine spikes up to 100c when running cinebench or when playing cpu intensive game like CS2. What do you think is the problem? Here are my specs i7-14700k gigabyte b760m 32gb ddr5 deepcool le520 4060ti nzxt h5 flow my aio is positioned in the top and have 2 intake fans in the front, 1 exhaust fan in the rear.
Yikes! That power spikes to 300+ Watts in CineBench... Is the board has a Long Duration Power Limit option under Advanced CPU Configuration? And will that option can limit the over power for that CPU?
@@jonathantorres7011same with me dual tower cooler thermalright Frost spirit 140mm also give hot temp on CPU to 100'c...Bro do you thing this kind of temp result can last long to our CPU? Or it's just a regular temp for now's days cpu?😮
@@md-vl3lm Those i7 and i9 14th processors require liquid cooling, I changed it for a Thermaltake - TH120 ARGB (it cost me 60 dollars at bestbuy) and now it works much better with maximum temperatures of 70c. With the cooling you have you notice that it reaches up to 95 and 100c, but then it will drop shortly after, Thermal Throttling will be activated.
@@jonathantorres7011 Yeah your right after I setupup the cooler fan to 100% speed nothing big difference just get 70C - 96C...My Dual tower 3x140mm cooler still can't handle this heat Cpu even do i don't turn on any OC or Xmp...
Yes, in gamers scenario, maybe the owner doing something else require cpu intensity? And sometime just a mild entertainment un some light gpu games? Be in their shoes to know their needs
I would recommend the BeQuiet! Dark Rock 4 CPU air cooler. It can handle Intel i5 and i7 (non-K) CPU's. I recently purchased one myself to go with my i7 14700F PC build.
Can you set a PL1 limit or is it not needed? I wouldn’t want a 14700 going over 219 watts.
i7 generation 14 from intel in the synthetic tests are beasts, with spikes of over 300w!

you can use, but not overclock , as they say not using up to the processor's true performance
