- Genshin Impact version 4.5 is here! This patch brings us Chiori, Arataki Itto, and Albedo on the Chronicled Wish... all at once.
With quite a few new characters now on our account, I want to try to bring all of them up to level so they can all be used in content... Though that's easier said than done
Geo is often viewed as one of the 'worst' elements in Genshin Impact... Time to try and change that. Can we beat Genshin Impact using ONLY Geo characters? Only time will tell.

Having so few characters you can actually use is a good thing in many ways because you don't have the risk of decision fatigue when it comes to building a quadrillion characters

Hey java ! You can get some more primogems if you do the quest called : "Nine pillars of peace" . When you max out the geo statue you get an item that looks like a orange/yellow ball . You can insert them in the pillars around the place you found the unusual hillichurl and it will open the big doors . Inside you will fight some opponents and then you'll be kindly rewarded with lots of mora and some primogems(40-60)
The nine pillars are located in cuije slope , when you max out the geo statue you will have exactly nine balls and can open all the pillars which will open the big doors in the middle ! When you enter them you have to fight some ruin guards and when your done you will get an item that you will then have to sell to someone ! I recommend selling it to the flower man for more primos!!

You can do the event just use your skills away from the enemies and take pictures to do dmg
decent idea actually! since it doesnt need to hit an enemy so he wouldnt dmg them with non geo characters!
And maybe if he does damage to the enemies (with the skills) accidentally he has to do some sort of punishment?

I actually prefer farming talent and boss drops over artifacts. To me its like a checklist I can progress through and its so satisfying
Same. I farm artifacts (pain), then level materials, then the leisurely ride of farming talent materials. I still have to recover a few million more before I do another Kaeya crown.. I have crowned 1/3 talents. (His skill)
With artefacts you can just keep pouring your resin into a bottomless pit of flat def and hp
It definitely feels more efficient to do since you have an end goal regardless of the drops.

If you've unlocked the chasm underground, the glowy bugs down there also give you the firefly spines, and they're much easier to see and catch. I think I also saw some similar bugs in chenyu vale while running around there earlier, but I'm not sure where.
He doesn't have the chasm unlocked rn.
Btw i found an easier way to apply burning ^^Just teleport to talent books domain in Sumeru, there is a piro flower and a dendro mushroom you can find them just in front of you c:

For what it's worth, you can get the spines for teleport waypoints from Lucklight Flies, though those are only in the Chasm, and from Malachitin Lumibug, which are in Chenyu. Unlike fireflies, they spawn in set locations, from what I recall. They work like crystalflies, so they won't time out when you approach, just startle and start to fly away.
For Mora, you can try getting some from the sigil shops/trees, you haven't traded them all in yet.
17:05 The beatles in the chasm can also give you the same drops and they are much easier to farm
Fact: there is a mono geo team being used in spiral abyss (it’s the most popular team for chiori) which has Itto, chiori, gorou and zhongli. I know you don’t have one of them but zhongli can be replaced against any sustainer (probably Noelle)and get zhongli because he’s most used in spiral abyss

You can go to chasm and get lucklight flies which give the Luminescent Spines you need to craft more wave points 16:59
zhongli also uses slimes but you're fine for now
A big tip for looking for beetles is using gorou on your team, he finds resources around Inazuma
On the event there’s a thing where if you use a skill and then use the little photo button thing they give you it injured enemies,so maybe if you try to use the skill but not injure the enemies(similar to how you would use the skills and bursts at the very start of the game against those slimes but not injuring them) then it could possibly give you enough kills eventually for the primogems if this helps at all Lmaooo
Dedication is a fine thing but I'd rather you just do the events off camera to get the primos. No need to suffer unduly for a bunch of internet strangers.

Yeah, I was really annoyed when I realized my swords account was completely locked out of those sweet sweet freemogems.
With regards to the new combat event:
Because of the special effect of the arena and Fayz effect, you don't necessarily have to deal damage with the trial characters in order to activate it. Was doing some testing and cleared the tutorial level without dealing any damage as Nahida (by aiming the skill away from enemies). Could be a way to clear at least the first stage to unlock the 1 geo trial in the event!
(This would be a similar to how you avoided "using" traveler at the beginning of spells only)

A tip for the event: if you enter the first challenge and then immediately leave you "clear" it and unlock the other challenges
But none of the others have Geo and there're only 2 challenges left to unlock 😅

This series seems rock solid so far
Java!! the event only requires you to use skill/ultimate then press T to take a photo of the golden ball that appears, technically if you use it (skill/ult) without hitting the enemy you would still be able to get the rewards! (not the highest score but you'd get the primos)
We have geo only yet no conclusion to the Genshin nuzlocke
Itto's skill is probably the most important, it can literally nuke
I find it funny, that Java is talking about going to Japan soon, when I was in Japan when this video released.
Everytime I see there's a new geo only video I wonder how that account would look if they didn't change Kirara from a Geo bow 5* to a dendro sword 4*
If you need to HoYoLAB has an interactive map that has routes for all of the beetles, dendrobium, etc
I KNOW HOW YOU CAN DO THE EVENT:D IF YOU ENTER IN THE FAYZE THINGY GOES UP BY ITSLEF IF YOU USE YOUR SKILL AWAY FROM THE ENEMIES THEN THE ORB POPS UP ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS STOP AND THEN CLICK A PHOTO OF THE ORB IT KILLS THE ENEMY!YOU ONLY NEED ONE HUNDERED EXP TO GET THE PRIMOS!😁(this is tested!)
If im not wrong gorou shows local specialities in Inazuma so when looking for the beetles for Itto you can just use that
Ohhh shi, you can give ningguang, yunjin and others who solely proc crystallize a lot of EM so that the shield is strong

I can't watch this until later, but I wanted to make note of something in case it's still relevant.
In case you're still locked out of co-op, there's a world quest that commonly is forgotten about that might also be locking you. It's the tri-tower challenge in Tianqiu Valley (near the mini Azdaha HuTao/Xiao/Yanfei boss by the Chasm). You "start" the quest by reading a carved stone in the "plaza" in that spot. If you were exploring for primos but never finished those towers that'll keep you locked out as well. (I know from exp, and it's why my Thoma is now triple crowned).
I've been trying to think of any others since your Rana Cooking Pot incident, but that's the only funky one I know I can mention that can mess you up, since it's early enough in Liyue compared to some things in Inazuma etc.
(Btw, if you can get to Inazuma, Serei Island is FILLED with spectors, you should hold off on farming those until you can go there).

Just a hint for the future, there are a lot of fireflies in the chasm so maybe there is the spot to look for in the future?
underground chasm has blue fireflies that are much easier to catch! once you unlock it
the casm has lots of fireflyes drops, just go to the teleports there and youre good to go, i only farm there and its a lot waiting for farm

You can do the event if you use skills or wtv the requirements they're asking away from the enemies then use the event specific "gadget" to kill the enemies
the way Java light those fire monument remind me of hot potato game, but to keep the potato hot and toasty, they just set the player on fire. love the content, keep it up the good work👍

I think that you don't need to attack the enemies in the new event you just have to press the e-skill since you get 1 charge when you start the event domain 😊

Totally understand how you'd like artifact farming better... I do too. It's that little gambler's high from getting a good artifact with substats.
Farming talents is just work.
Java you can actually do the event! I’m not sure if any of the later stages have geo characters but you can actually unlock the next stage without betraying the account just by failing the challenge!

JAVA! YOU CAN DO THE EVENT! I found a glitch for it so you don't have to fight! You go into it, and you start, then leave. There are two geo stages
Zhongli requires slime but you have time till you'll actually get him
Don’t forget pulling for chiori on swords only
For the camera event, you don,t need to use the characters, just let buff deal with the enemies, I know you need to use abilities to get the buff but you don’t need to hit the enemies.

Mr. Java I think feel like it is fine to do the event since there are only trial characters and you already do the character trial on the other accounts but if there is a geo character in the event then you can only use that one
so Pls dont miss out on the primogems, the weapon banner needs it
about ittos skill- it does a TON of damage when he’s in his burst mode. my c1 serpent spine itto 9 9 10 can do 80-90k with the skill during burst mode w gorou benny and zhongli
