    🏄 Fabulous Windsurfing incorporating a great variety of Wave-board actions, which were being performed by people with total experience and skills throughout.👍

    Videos like this make me wish I hadn't traded all my windsurf gear in for kites and wings. Great stuff!

      I thought something similar. On these flat water spots racing with slalom gear is still awesome! I'm also more focused on kiting lately.

    By far the windiest video I have seen of this spot.He is flying!

      They get faster. He was cracking 40 knots as I was standing in the water taking stills with him flying past me. I cant keep up using a normal drone.

    LOVE those big, wide, smooth, FAST jibes. You could almost let go of the booms and just let the carve initiate the sail rotation!!
    I'm headed to Aruba in a couple of days, hoping to pull MANY of those over the next week!!
    What size sail? Board? Fin?

    "porn slör" (as we call that in Finnish andSwedish :) i.e. porn broad reach - best feeling what you might get with your pants on .. one of the best footage that I have seen so far to really get the feeling of windsurfing @ high speed ! OK, wave sailing might be even better but anyway - great video and music, thumbs up.

    Thanks for turning me on to Tool. I hadn’t heard that new album atall.
    I’ll be pumped next time with that in my head, the tune and the sailing.
    I’ll be going 20-25kts if I’m lucky but will feel like I’m going as fast as woody here. [:D]

    ♦️The development of Windsurfing sails have also made a good improvement to most of the board users abilities to perform the various wave-riding and jumping actions.
    It also clearly shows that the sail areas cupping extents have reduced the draw strains on people's arms whilst they are in the process of doing the booster draws required to perform the necessary launches from the wave-crests .

    Amazing spot! Is it Australia? What sizes of board, sail and fin?

  • @markoconnor680
    @markoconnor680 7 месяцев назад +1

    Lakes are far more suitable for the racing and slalom activities than the sea is as there is more surety that tidal flow's wouldn't create more intense ripples which can cause bow dips and possible board jackknifing .

    Is it windy all year or is it seasonal? Is it gusty being a lake, or fairly consistent?

    • @joew7013
      @joew7013 11 месяцев назад +5

      It's Princess Royal Harbour. About 30cm to 100cm deep depending on tide. The Sea grass keeps the chop down. You need a weed fin.
