BELLHOPPER try using a bolt with big washers to remove the bearing and also pull the new bearing back in works great buddy no hammers needed you don't even have to warm up cases just lube the bearing up a little
Hello, I have a Husqvarna 390 that I am repairing and I have completely assembled it but when I go to turn it on the spark plug fills with gasoline but it does not start, a couple of days ago it started but badly, I had to open the low gasoline pass in the carburetor a lot to get it to start, but today it didn't want to start again, the spark plug is filled with gasoline but it doesn't start, it has new seals, (all) new gaskets, new piston cylinder and piston rings, Any idea why it doesn't want to start? The coil gives spark and there is compression in the engine.
I understand your method on installing cranks but the 385 and 390 have the seal in the bearing so to much heat will ruin that seal and possibly the bearing
Toaster oven and a freezer in the shop helps alot👍👍 seems like all the huskys I do are always a little tight feeling..
Nice job Hopper! Appreciate the quality craftsmanship.

Looks like the best way to put in crank bearing and cranks is what works best for you the possibilities seem endless.
Thats was interesting crankshaft install, never seen that method before
Gonna be a great saw to run i do believe.
Hello bellhopper , I put the bearing the freezer for awhile and heat the case and the bearing usually goes in easy
