omg the lyrics - "once I thought the truth was gonna set me free but now I feel the chains of it's responsibilty - I will not be a puppet, I cannot play it safe, I'll give myself away with a blind and simple faith - I'm just the same as you, I just do the best I can - and that's the only answer (answer answer answer) for an ordinary man." f*cking golden!
I just love this album!! As I e said in other videos, I haven’t some of these tracks in 35-40 years! Just as good now as it was back then! Lovin this!! Be well and God bless… from Texas!!
Rik Emmett wrote an article for 13 years for guitar player magazine called back to basics that included transcriptions, if nobody has mentioned it yet.
Maybe You must listen other Triumph great tracks: Fight The Good Fight, Never Surrender, Lay it on The line, Spellbound, Follow Your Heart..... Triumph is great, awesom....in sometime, they had they Best live show in rock business.
Its more about what hes saying put to music than what your looking for in the composure alot like heaven and hell by Black Sabbath. Its on the nose and in your face
"Hey politician, can't believe a word you say, Al-Mighty Media, whose truth d'ya sell today? Watchdog of justice who keeps their eye on you? ...the words to this were perfect then and now!
Lovin this Triumph! I haven’t heard some of these songs in 35 years! Is this your request Jim? I thought he would like this more also!! Happy New Year my friend!!
This is what I wish Rush would have kept doing over the years, Geddy do some screaming, instead they took it pretty easy on the vocals on many albums after the '70s
To me, Triumph always sounded like they were trying to be Rush but came off more like Styx or Boston. Maybe that’s unfair. But it just doesn’t work for me.
TRIUMPH never got their just deserts, criminally underrated

Pure Wisdom from Triumph here!

Porrada , Rock N' Roll 🤘🏼😎 só presta ouvir no som Máximo
Abraço do Brazil🇧🇷
This was my friend’s favorite song from triumph.
Strong Styx/Kansas vibes from this song.
Exactly the 2 bands that came to mind for me.

One of the best Truimph tunes.
One of the songs that i listened to when I made the decision to not self-delete.
My fave band in high school. This and Magic Power
Love Triumph! Rik Emmett has a bit of Geddy sound in his voice
In this track. Makes me proud to be a Canadian.

Another top notch Canadian 3 piece
Title Song “Allied Forces” is the best from this album
"Hey politician, can't believe a word you say, Al-Mighty Media, whose truth d'ya sell today? Watchdog of justice who keeps their eye on you? ...the words to this were perfect then and now!
These guys were definitely more of a metal band ,at least that’s how I would classify their sound. Awesome though brings back memories.
Good song from Triumph, u should have got the lyric video, u should try the first album, blinding light show, bring it on home, rock n roll machine
Thanks for getting to this, I thought you would enjoy it more than you did but it’s all good brother.👍
Lovin this Triumph! I haven’t heard some of these songs in 35 years! Is this your request Jim? I thought he would like this more also!! Happy New Year my friend!!
@@juliebrockett3471 Hi Julie, Happy New Year!! Yes, this was my request.

Little Boy Blues is the song for you
When I saw you were doing this song, I knew it wasn't going to be your kind of thing.
Triumph is excellent but it tends to get cliche musically and lyrically. That's why they ran their course.
I was a big Triumph fan, but this one didn’t really do it for me. It happens.
The look on your face in the thumbnail of the video looks like awkward portrait day at school Lol!!
Sounds like Suzi Quattro
Just an 'ordinary' song to my ears.
You look like you're really into it, and then you go and say nah.. you're so hard to read . But hey it's no big deal.
This is a great album with only one dud (Fool for Your Love). Triumph!
To me, Triumph always sounded like they were trying to be Rush but came off more like Styx or Boston. Maybe that’s unfair. But it just doesn’t work for me.
Really bad vocals on this one, could never get into this band.
