- I LOVE galaxy themed things! I wanted to do customize a Pony with the galaxy them because I though it would look awesome! The small glitter looks like stars and the big glitter looks like planets! Princess Twilight Sparkle literally has the entire universe on her back!

i used to watch these all the time when i was little, 5-7. Im 16 now and god i miss this era of my childhood so much. the early 2000's were everything, and i took it for granted. I wish sometimes i could go back, because i was born in the near end of an amazing era.

Here is a few things I would suggest for the next customization. Use a Q-Tip with the Acetone on it for smaller/harder to reach areas so you won't have to worry so much about removing something you want to keep. And if you do remove something accidentally, just go over it with a paint pen. They have finer tips and won't get the paint into areas that you don't want to mess up. Also, if you want to recreate that gloss and seal in the paint once you're done, use a layer of Gloss Finish Mod Podge. Just a few tips from a fellow artist.

and another recommendation is: instead of blue and pink smokey effects you should do the mane colors, so it can match the pony

Beautiful! I love painting galaxy/nebula/space patterns, too and have a couple ponies and tokidokis I want to customize - one being in a galaxy pattern. I have wondered about nail polish (great to see it work so well), but wasn't entirely sure until now if it would work. I really love working with enamel paints, but the selection and smell is not always the greatest (and the finish can be hard to get right on certain materials). I like acrylic, but like you mentioned, it's hard to get that nice glossy sheen (even if you get glossy coat/gloss paints). Thanks for this; it has helped me a lot and given me some ideas/inspiration!

Girl. The nail polish is genius. I used acrylic paint and it took tons of coats and wound up bubbling over the last few years and I have to completely redo my ponies! I absolutely have to try nail polish!! I've put it off for a long time, but I'm so excited now! :)
