He's much more powerful than his sister, so be prepared for a rough fight. He'll use his poison breath on you and your partner, and stomp on you with his massive claw. He'll send a shockwave that will hit both of you, but watch out when he charges up his MegaBreath attack. His Attack is 8, Defense is 2, and his HP is 80. Be careful, Snake.
@101RuneVids101 Bonetail is on the last floor of the pit of doom thing. The 100-level enemy gauntlet. Bonetail will fuck you up if you're not prepared.
@101RuneVids101 yeah you just have to make it to the bottom of the pit of the 100 trails. although bonetail has 200 hp and more attack power than the shadow queen.
@MetaKnightPwns1 I consider it more like a Super Mario game (Super Mario Galaxy, things like that) with Paper Mario elements and graphics. I agree, the RPG element was what made Paper Mario uniquely awesome.

i dont want him to die. besides, he finds a defense helper item on every floor! and it just took me like 20 minutes to complete the 100 pit of super paper mario flipside trials. besides, if it was a goomba trying to run the course, AND if there were no defense helpers, THEN it would be the worst. im actually a huge mario fan. i would like to give him a challenge every now and then. i like this conversation. ;)
@kyoushiro3 Danger mario in this game is a term used for not leveling mario's HP and leaving at 5 getting these things called Power Rush Badges go to a place called Pianta's Parlor in Rougeport and buy as many as you can(Trade coins for pianta coins or gamble on the slot's and stuff) they only take 1 Bp and will give mario 3+ Atk Poe if his HP is at 5 or Danger as it is called hence the name danger mario also get some pretty lucky badges and keep koops with you and use his shell shield 2 be safe

I've never got to Bonetail. just the other day I went into the pit of 100 trials. Upon this quest I got 2 level ups, all prizes on floor 30-90, and tons more enemies for my tattle log. I got to floor 99, got to a point with 0 FP, 0 items, 0 star power, all my partners dead, one enemy remaining, and having my health in the danger zone. He was almost dead, I could finish him off with my hammer. But, my finger slipped of the analog stick before it hit the star and he didn't die. I was devastated.
yeah, and 1,000,000 shadoos, bonetaills, wracktails, and bowsers. don't forget ultimate dimentio! hold on...something harder. all characters in all mario games all in 1 room vs mario. 1,000,000 of all of the toughest bosses, including the master's 3rd form!

@TheLegendarySuko Supr Paper Mario wasn't bad as a game by itself (bosses were too easy though), but it left out the turned based element that makes Paper Mario so unique and fun.
On my second attempt Bonetail got screwed because of the fog which kept appearing a lot, my crowd was different, brought 4 life shrooms and 6 super shrooms, i didn't mess up on the spring jump attack, and i finished him off with a BOOOOM!!!! I did record these attempts by the way but i can't upload them because they both exceeded the time limit which is a shame. Still this was the hardest boss i have ever fought in Paper Mario history.
Snake: You've gotta be kidding me. Another one? Campbell: That's Bonetail, the oldest and final sibling in the tail family. He's dangerous, and incredibly powerful. Do not take him lightly, Snake. His attacks include a plethora of breath attacks that affect you differently each time, He'll stomp on you with his claw, or chomp you with his powerful jaws. His HP is at 200, attack is at 8 and his defense is 2. When he gets weak, he'll recover his HP. I know you're tired, but hang in there Snake.
Not sure how many people know this, but you can enter the pit of 100 trials during Chapter 1. That being said, it can be very easy to defeat Hooktail without the FX Badge R, so long as you make the proper preparations. Heck, someone even defeated Bonetail before completing Chapter 1, but while that is quite the accomplishment, it's also off topic, so I digress from that.
You know what would be challenging in SPM.... The first Chapter Boss (Fracktail) + Hooktail. you would Fight Hooktail like, only jumping on her or using Pixls. Then you have Fracktail zooming at you while your trying to focus on Hooktail. Yeah a definite challenge. But what's worse is Fracktial + Bonetail! YIKES!
They may not be related, but it really seems like their design stemmed from the same origins... Maybe that's why the Hooktail/Bonetail & the Fracktail/Wracktail transitions were so close...
I laughed at how almost every character referred to Hooktail as a male. Oh, and another thing: HOW DID THEY MIX UP HOOKTAIL AND GLOOMTAIL!? ... Whatever.
