Darcy is such a pure, sweet young lady. She’s so polite and respectful. “I’m still laughing about those big knickers”... there was just something in the way she said it and danced off, reminded me of a scene in a period drama. What a lovely young girl.
Well, my heart has just melted!!! I'm watching with my little girl who's 2. We lost our little girl last August she was stillborn. My 2 year old Felicity always talks about her sister. When you mentioned about your Mum, Felicity asked "wheres Louise's Mummy? I said she is in the sky. Her reaction "Tell Louise it's ok because Baby Hope is looking after her and keeping her safe!!! My heart has gone all mushy!! And I cried. Sorry for oversharing but I couldn't not comment!! Xx
I personally enjoy the waffling, it’s a source of comfort. There is a soothing element of normalcy when someone is just talking to the camera about whatever comes to mind.
Really love seeing someone with a big audience who promotes/loves going to charity shops/buying second hand! I've recently been learning so much about fast fashion and it's impact, and over the last year or so have really been trying to buy second hand and encourage people to do the same, so thank you for doing that too!
I’m only 19 so we don’t have that much in common (except we both seem to love anything pink and Christmas related) but I find it so helpful watching u because I can see that life can get better and I really hope that I’m blessed (at some point) with daughters as kind, smart, thoughtful and individual as yours 💗
I have a question for the Q&A. I am a relatively new teacher (going into my 7th year) and one of my biggest fears is that I will miss the signs of a child who is being abused and therefore won't be able to help them. I was wondering if there are clues that may not always be obvious. And also did your teachers help you. Congratulations on your book andI proud of you for being so brave and open. Love Janet.
Though I wish you could have spent time with Marie in Seattle, I'm glad you found a beautiful alternative close to home! You are building such precious memories with the girls ❤
I love being here early. I am only five minutes into the video and it has already made my day. You are a breath of fresh air and happiness in the world, Louise.
Just sat down with breakfast and this popped up! After binging all your old weeklys last night I am buzzing for a new one this morning! Have a gorgeous day Lou xx
Louise, I love that no matter where you are filming, either in the idyllic Cotswolds or your “soft office”, you are you. The hilarious commentary, the tanning blunder (I’ve never had success btw, no judging!) and the really of mom life is just so true to you. Love your videos and you, thanks for taking the time to share your “nearly normal” get away, so glad you were able to do it.
I genuinely LOVE watching your videos. You are such a pure soul, so kind and down to earth. You bring so much joy and laughter to others. You are so relatable and fun as well. I hope you had a lovely time and have a lovely weekend. Highs of 30 today!! Love you xxxxxx
Coming back to watch your vlogs years after seeing them the first time is beyond comforting 🥰 Been having a really tough time lately and just broke up with a guy I've been dating so feeling sorry for myself. Watching you has always been like getting the warmest squishiest cuddle and just like catching up with a friend and I needed that today so thank you so much ❤❤ Hope you, Liam and your gorgeous girlies are all doing well. Lots of love and light ✨❤️❤️ xxxx
The Cotswolds is such a lovely place to visit and to live, love walking round the village and such a peaceful and lovely place when they aren’t so many tourists. Never thought someone would come and visit Bourton
thankyou for the videos you make 💕 its like getting a big warm hug when youre feeling down. not having the best time rn but 2 seconds into your video and im already feeling calmer 💕
I got sent back to Canada after studying in the UK this year and these videos make me miss the beauty of Britain so much!!! Miss the whimsical nature and ancient energy of everything
I’m feeling anxious, passing the time eating for my first councelling season. This is just what I needed to calm me some what. What a heartwarming watch.
A question for next weeks video: considering you went through such horrible things as a kid, how did you manage to function as an adult? Do you think it made a difference that you had a loving mum before the abuse, so that you knew what love should feel like? I was emotionally abused by my mum up until I was 25 and struggle big time with mental health and my daily life. I didn’t know it was abuse until I was an adult, just thought I was the problem. Love, Maria Xxx
I just had a moment of feeling so warm and fuzzy when hearing you say “these are the sort of shorts that would look beautiful with tights underneath” it’s such a mum sentence and I could hear my own mum saying those exact words to me even though we are a long way apart at the moment and I just loved it so much and almost welled up!!! This video was such a cosy vlog. It was so lovely to watch you looks so happy, and it was perfect to help me relax after a very long, hard day. Much love from Melbourne, Australia xxx
Absolutely love your videos! Such a beautiful little family ❤ I was watching this one this morning then my 7 year old son wanted to watch too. He got into bed and we had a snuggle whilst watching. Such a lovely start to my day ❤🥰
A question or two for the book Q&A: You've been on the internet for a long time, why does now feel like the right time to share more about your story? Have you spoken with your children about your childhood? Would you feel comfortable with them maybe reading the book later down the line when they're a bit older? Love Izzy x
Seeing you walk around Bourton on the Water brought me right back to my childhood, visiting with my grandparents and paddling in the Windrush. Plus visiting Brum in the motor museum was always a must! So wholesome 🥰
I’m having the most horrid week, with lockdown family dynamic coming to a real blow out been feeling so low. This is exactly what I needed. Watched you from the beginning and I’ve always found everything about you so comforting. Thank you do sharing this it really has eased my anxieties and calmed me 💕
As soon as the music started I was like yes so excited👌🏻Darcy is such a good big sis and I actually can’t believe how grown up Pearl is in the video oh my god.💗Looks like you all had an amazing time❤️
My goodness, what a beautiful vlog. It was so relaxing watching you and then everyone else walk around. That looks like the kind of place that I would love to go for a long weekend, just relaxing and walking around. Like you said...very idyllic. Thanks, a mini virtual getaway.
Omg, omg, omg - I love it sooooo much, Louise! Thank you for taking us around this beautiful village, out of a fairytale 👍💖🧚🏻♀️🧜🏼♀️🧝🏻♂️ That’s what I loved about the UK when I lived there (1978-1980), and I feel „homesick“ immediately when I see such lovely pictures. I absolutely feel your vibe..... Greetings and much love from Germany! ✌️💖💜🍀🥰😘
I’m over in Seattle at the moment (I’m cabin crew) and it’s all very quiet and a bit eery! Lots of bordered up shops from protests but the weather is beautiful! Xxx
Feel so overwhelmingly excited for little at home breaks and days out once my little girlie is here in September! The closer I get, the slower it feels like it's going
Louise ❤️ I just wanted to say Thank You for this video. The beginning where you walked around and brought us with you showing us the most beautiful scenery just made my day. You are so right when you talked about how those of us on furlough (I have been for months now) are at home but we crave anything new so seeing this adorable town helped that stir crazy feeling! This was such a lovely video! Thank you again for showing us around. It truly felt like I was with you walking around the Cotswolds 😊 Lastly, I NEED to go to that Christmas shop!! What a dream!!
Ahhh I'm glad you liked it Grace! Sometimes I don't show surroundings as much because I worry people don't think they're as interesting as I do but I'll keep your comment in mind and share more xxx
Glad you spoke about the book. When I saw the title previously, I thought it was a sort of guide book to motherhood. I didn't realise it was so much more. As someone who never had children, I would just have overlooked it on the shelf.
Love this vlog! I went to Bourton on the water and Moreton-in-marsh all the time when I was little, and went to the park in Moreton-in-marsh all the time as well as all the shops in Bourton on the water as well, it was my favourite! Made me feel very nostalgic!
If Pearl likes marbles you should definitely have a trip up to Stourbridge glass quarter. There’s a museum, shops and you can watch glass items being made ❤️
The way you are with the girls reminds me so much of my childhood.... you are just like my mom .... this video just gave me so many memories ..... You are a wonderful mother 💖💖💖
You’re doing such a good job bringing up your children, they’re so polite, happy, and funny, it always brings a smile to my face to see! Love your videos❤️keep being the amazing mummy and woman you are, Darcy and Pearl are so lucky to have such wonderful people as you and Liam to help them grow to be the best they can be
Would definitely recommend the Lake District, visiting Keswick, and Grasmere to see Beatrix potter house where she wrote peter rabbit, the gardens, and old tradition local shops. Then finish the day with stopping to get Grasmere’s gingerbread.
Such a beautiful vlog ❤️ Our son and daughter were working in Broadway for over a year recently and I absolutely loved when they FaceTimed us and took us for a walk around the village it’s so beautiful and so different from Australia.
My goodness what a lovely day it was with you! Darcy is such a young lady and Pearl is looking more and more like her daddy! I can’t wait for the book to arrive. I’m thrilled to know that it is a more substantial book and not fluff. That is actually what made me decide to buy it!! Hugs 🤗 to you all! 🤴🏼👸🏼🧚🏼♂️🧚♀️
I travelled to England in 2000 (yikes, 20 years ago!) and stayed a few days in Broadway. We visited Bourton on the Water for the day and had a cream tea at a cafe next to the river. We loved it!
I love that you dress the girls in matching outfits! So so cute! My mum used to do the same with me and my sister. We have some cracking photos where we look like a set of babushkas haha xxx
Lovely video Louise x Good to see you and your family so relaxed and happy. I want to thank you for donating 100% of the royalties of your new book MumLife to the NSPCC, it`s a very kind and loving thing to do. I have not read any of your other books but have pre ordered this one and am looking forward to receiving it on the 6th :)
This makes me so excited for my weekend away in Yorkshire next week! Darcy is so funny when she was talking about the giant knickers 😂 and the shower thing! She’s such a cheeky chops. And when Pearl wanted the spider filter, so funny. Your girls are such a blessing to you and I hope you have had a lovely time xx
I love Bourton on the water! There's a nice butterfly maze (I think that's what it's called, if its still there) where you hunt round it for the clues to the riddle before you reach the middle to solve it, and as for the Victorian Christmas shop, I've spent many an hour looking in there feeling festive 🙊🙊❤️
Oh my goodness, I went to the Cotswolds on a school residential and as soon as you showed the 'waterfall' I remembered standing there nearly 30 years ago and taking photos of the ducks.
I believe the thing you're talking about at 31:11 is a preface? And the flowers you like that looked like roses but aren't I believe are hollyhocks and you can get very frilly ones and then the more traditional ones. Hope this helps!
Darcy is such a pure, sweet young lady. She’s so polite and respectful. “I’m still laughing about those big knickers”... there was just something in the way she said it and danced off, reminded me of a scene in a period drama. What a lovely young girl.
Ahhh thank you, I'm very proud of her. She's like a little china doll isn't she? Has her moments like all children but 99% of the time angelic xxx
Well, my heart has just melted!!! I'm watching with my little girl who's 2. We lost our little girl last August she was stillborn. My 2 year old Felicity always talks about her sister. Oh I’m so sorry for your loss. Your little Felicity sounds like the loveliest little one
I really don’t think your 2 year old said that
@@TRACYxBEAKER why ?
@@nualamcneil6515 exactly what I was thinking!! X
I'm actually crying reading your comment,. So sorry for your lossxxxxxx

Heard the blinggg da da da da da da da daaaa montage and knew i was in for goodie 🥰
Yaaasss, the oldie but goldie music! xxx

The cottage looks like the house the kids are sent to in the Chronicles of Narnia.
See, here’s the perks of being up “ early”
Yes indeed😁😁😁
Wish I was a morning person.
Being shown around that lovely village was so heart warming. I want to live there and bake cookies and volunteer at the local village school 🤦♀️😂 x
I have a question for the Q&A. Congratulations on your book andI proud of you for being so brave and open. Love Janet.
I nearly spat out my tea "It's like Wind in the Frickin' Willows" 😂😂
Louise, the tall flowers are called hollyhocks 💕
Thank you!! I'll remember that!! xxx
Though I wish you could have spent time with Marie in Seattle, I'm glad you found a beautiful alternative close to home! You are building such precious memories with the girls ❤
I like the no hugging/no handshake thing too tbh 🙈 Even pre-Corona those could transmit illnesses so easily!
You should live in a bubble..
One should definitely hug friends and family (particularly post-Corona), but strangers nah that's weird.
I’m feeling very Christmasy too. The thoughts of Christmas are the only thing getting through this year
Alana Gorman oh my goodness yes, i want to see Christmas vlogs again x
I love being here early. I am only five minutes into the video and it has already made my day. You are a breath of fresh air and happiness in the world, Louise.
The fact that pearl loves the spider filter is kinda scary 😂 it is quite unusual. Love your family ❤
Yeah I have a major phobia and couldn’t look!

Morning Louise I'm an early riser too! As a foster carer for wild hedgehogs I'm up at 6 cleaning out hutches. Love the morning quiet.
the classic Louise vlog music in the beginning made me so happy it feels like a warm hug cos reminds me of how much I enjoy Louise's videos xo
I went there in 2014 from Australia. Visited the miniature village. Lovely peaceful place. Wish I was there now. Thanks Louise. ♥️♥️♥️
I genuinely LOVE watching your videos. You are such a pure soul, so kind and down to earth. You bring so much joy and laughter to others. You are so relatable and fun as well. I hope you had a lovely time and have a lovely weekend. Highs of 30 today!! Love you xxxxxx
these flowers you were asking about: hollyhocks. in germany, they are actually called "stick roses". they are very common for farm/cottage gardens
Darcy the most practical child ever: Is there a towel?
I'd have jumped in and then regretted it later because of my lack of darcy's forthought 😂
your videos are an oasis of calm and happy in my day. They get me ready for all the challenges!
Coming back to watch your vlogs years after seeing them the first time is beyond comforting 🥰 Been having a really tough time lately and just broke up with a guy I've been dating so feeling sorry for myself. I'm so happy you're back! Nothing better to watch while I heal from COVID19!
Hope you'll be better soon❤️
I love seeing people explore and discover the Cotswolds - I grew up near Bourton and my Mum works there so I know it well and it truly is gorgeous
I had a staycation too in Cornwall, absolutely healed my soul and lowered my anxiety getting out of London x
Another amazing video! I just love when you show Charity shopping. And can I just say...another place I really want to visit! 💜

Yesss! You've made my morning because I wasn't sure if people would find the start a bit boring or not! Thank you Lucy-Anne! xxxx
I also really like starts like that. Not at all boring 🙂
Darcy is such a funny kid! She's so sweet with a wicked sense of humor! You'd never expect the comments she makes! 😄
A question or two for the book Q&A:

The music in the opening is so calming 🥰 makes it feel like a Sunday morning !!
My gosh I feel like Darcy was just Pearl’s size! Your family is just so lovely, thank you for sharing. Hope you all are well ❤️

Bourton on the water! I recognised it immediately, I’m from Australia but I was there in March, the same weekend the lockdown began
Love The Cotswalds went there on school trips years ago.
