  • Bill talks about the popular Amazonian herb used as the DMT ingredient in most Ayahuasca recipes. Special interest to how well it grows on the windward side of Hawaii.

    With Psychotria viridis.... I heard Terence McKenna once say that these leaves can be smoked for a significant effect. Anyone know anything about that?

      If you want to extract the DMT, then use Mimosa Hostilis; it has a much higher DMT content. All you need is some lye and Naptha. Do the straight-to-base method w/ a freeze precipitation.

      I get two crops per year, one large, one small. The flowering may be regular but I have not noticed.

      This has gone round and round in the past. Being able to tell the difference by watching this video is an amazing feat. You are very talented. I have P. alba in the garden also and other than the white flowers it is hard to tell them apart.

    • @hawaiianherbalist6013
      @hawaiianherbalist6013  7 лет назад +2

      P. viridis leaf margin extends all the way down the petiole as can be seen on this plant. The flowers on P.alba are noticeably white. This plant flowers in green. It would be enlightening for the rest of us if you could explain the details you used to identify this plant.

      I submit your right, I had to pause it at a couple places to check nodes. I wonder if it possible is a hybrid. Never seen a PV thats not a PV x PA get anything close to that wavy.
