Okay, this comment has spoilers but I really want to share this information. This ship is actually a real thing in The Trials of Apollo And I absolutely love it.
I will never forget in ToN how Lester refused to ride the taxi with Nico, Will, mag, and Rachel. Because the 3 sisters would obsess over the cuteness of Solangelo. I’m not kidding.
I imagine for Nico's "coming out" he would suddenly wear a rainbow scarf one day, all day and ignore absolutely EVERYONE. Then at dinner in the dining pavilion he would walk over to Will after everyone had finished eating wrap the scarf around the back of his neck, pull him into a kiss, then shadow-travel back to his cabin as fast as possible.
