I just turned 28 yesterday and I don’t know when it happened, it happened so fast, I feel like just yesterday I graduated high school and was living with my mom and dad. And now I’m almost 30. It is a blessing but I’m also super nostalgic like you and some days it’s a little tough. I wish I had cherished all those years in between more than I had, but that just makes me realize to hold everyone and everything close from now on.
Nobody has ever described the way I feel about family vacations better than you just did. I’ve been vacationing with my family since I was 11 (I’m 28 now) and we even have a couple family members who live in NC who join us every year and it’s always so much fun and I’m always a wreck at the end because I miss everyone before we even leave and immediately reminiscing on all of our vacations and making myself sad.. I understand this so so much and I’m crying with you now 😭🫶🏻

Why I'm telling you this is because my mom died 3 months ago from stage 4 pancreatic cancer 😭 and she only lived 3 months after being diagnosed. Now my brother's and sisters and I have no more parents. My father passed away on January 5th of 2019 from lung/ brain cancer. P. S. Destiny you are very lucky to still have your parents, enjoy them while there alive.
