Love how each of Adidas’s models look different. Like they still have that Adidas look, but it’s unique for each signature model. Meanwhile all of Nike’s signature shoes recently have all looked very similar to one another, and all leaning towards the Kobe design.
To me these look like the Adidas Dame 9, mixed with the AE 1 low, mixed with the previous Harden model, and with a bit of Foamposite and the EQLZ 360. Love the design.
I think these look better than the AE1s. Hardens have always looked striking, some are incredible and others are just noticeable, but I’ve rarely said “ew” when looking at one of his models

QOTD: I haven't seen it yet.
To me the Harden Vol 9 is a clear evolution of the last one, and I like that they keep refining the vision of this shoe. It's attractive enough, and I hope that they solved the creasing issue in the overlays from last year. When performance shoes get yearly revisions, I like to be able to trust that if I liked a certain model that I can get the next year's edition and it should be similar enough. It should be a simple enough concept for manufacturers. In contrast, I'm not surprised at the abrupt change of direction in the Jordan models you mentioned, because it's the signature shoe for a player who has been retired for decades.

Great diamond watch! Got mine last week and did quality check with my vintage Cartier. I'll have to say it's almost 100% same quality while more stylish and everyday! Plus, my Cartier doesn't have diamonds, and this one does. You'll have to pay $$$$$+ only for diamonds with Cartier watch but only $200 for this brand. One of my best buys this year. Insane. Absolutely, sincerely, recommend

These are really sleek!! I do appreciate the design Adidas is implementing with Harden, D. Mitchell, Ant, Dame, and FOG.
I like this iterative refinement of the Hardens. They look good. I feel you Chris on the eclipse + unlocked zoom thing. It just disappeared.
Foams is the vibe I got from these as well, but with actual court feel and lighter😂

This the issue I had on the 8’s that make me hesitate, see those circles on the soles of the shoe (u can see them at 3:31) the literally ripped off (not all the way but to the point I can’t play in them) only after like a month n some change I take very good care of my ball kicks bc they expensive (I’m talking indoor only won’t step on any floor with them but the courts etc)
Man the Superman trailer gives me hope for DC. They need to have a Batman and a Superman that are awesome.

These 3 gens all look incredible, better than any other brands on the market, if they weren’t that heavy I would have bought as many colors as possible.
Am I the only one who sees that all the Adidas signature shoes look alike? Its the same shape with different patterns on the side. They found something that works and are riding it until the wheels fall off.
The underside of that insole really reminds me of the Roshe Run’s sole

4:17 The foot doctor Zach cut the AE1 mid’s and low’s and it has both boost and light strike. It would be weird for adidas to not add it for different colors.
There is no lightstrike in the AE1 Mid. Confirmed by the design team via our podcast.

Great review as always. I'm excited to get my pair in this evening. I feel the harden line has done the best of feeling like small evolutions from shoe to shoe.
Superman trailer was awesome. Excited for the new take. I also enjoyed man of steel, loved it tbh. But slowly got less enjoyment out of every additional piece. Universe did not go where I hoped it would. I'm excited for July 2025.

I wouldn't wear any of Harden's but somehow adidas is succeding to make them crazy and futuristic with the golden age 90' factor. Very inovative comparing to nike who lost that factor after the foamposites, and jordans which are almost the same impression, whoever the signature player is. Somehow same look just different shapes within the same sneaker/shape.

Facts on Snyders DC universe. If his version of Justice league came out I think we would have got a killer Afleck vs Deathstroke solo film. Even Letos Joker was fixed and could have been awesome. Shoes look great too lol Best looking most wearable Hardins yet.

The shoes look slick and hope they perform as good as they look. As for the question of the day, loved the trailer. I think they should stop there….that was enough. That WAS the trailer….we don’t need a more elaborate trailer. Like you, I enjoyed “Man of Steel” and I LOVE Henry Cavil. Looking forward to the movie and what comes next…..currently enjoying “Creature Commandos”. That weasel story is what hooked me in.
For the last 10 years or so I've strictly been all adidas specifically for the uniqueness they've been bringing vs nike. The only nike shoes i get now a days are the retro lebrons or kobes they bring back

I like what Adidas is doing. Trae Young 1 was highly underrated. Dame has had some hits and misses. I hated the mid 2000s adidas, like Agent zero and the TS commander line. They killed it with D Rose.

I was so hyped for this video. Really wanted to know your thoughts on the sizing and still confused. For the harden vol 7 i went tts (i typically wear a us 13) and that worked in the 7s but the 8s fit long and i wear a us 12. I feel like i should stick with a 13 bc of the harder outter material and the more tapper looking toe. Ill probably play it safe and wait for the gobal launch of the vol 9 and see what size to order bc i really love this cw. Gives me sasuke uchhia from naruto vibes.

This is my least fav of the last 3 but still grew on me for sure. Just love the wild direction the line has taken

How much input do you think the Beard had in the design of this? Because images of these leaked before the 8’s came out, you’d think Adidas would try to give the 8’s some time amongst their NBA roster but nevertheless it seems like an upgrade anyway

Almost all Adidas recent releases still have a Ye influence. You can tell they’re still using some of his designs… just wish it didn’t end the way it did with them.
