It's been a very long time, since the last pacifist run. In fact you've gone through genocide over 173 times. You've just left the ruins, covered in dust. You see sans all the way at the end of the forest, where the bars that his brother made are. Sans sees you and without warning, warps in front of you. Immediately upon laying eyes on him you get chills racing up your spine, he looks broken, his once light blue eye has turned to a dark maroon. His smile stretches from one side of his skull to another, you see in his right hand that he's holding the real knife and in his other, Papyrus's scarf, covered in blood. Your face goes from a sinister smile, to anger. He stole your xp, your lv, YOUR KILLS! You open your mouth to say something witty, but he cuts you off by saying something. You don't know what he said but you know that he was speaking in hands. He drops Papyrus's scarf and buries it in the snow with his foot. He summons a blaster. It looks... Different, it's eyes are a deep maroon as well. It looks more threatening than usual, it's teeth are jagged and serrated. You prepare yourself for battle. He summons bones but they aren't just the normal bones, they're sharp and serrated as well. He mutters the words "let's both have a bad time, shall we? Kiddo." You leap for him but he holds you down with blue magic. He walks slowly towards you with the real knife, he raises it to the air, and sinks it into your chest, over and over again. You let out a blood curdling scream. He grabs your head and brings his face close to yours, and whispers in your ear, "there will be no mercy, and no one will come to save you." He drives the knife into your right hand and twists, you scream again and start crying. He flinches slightly but doesn't stop. After a minute of twisting he pulls out the knife and begins laughing while tears run down his face. He finally loses his grip on you and you are no longer pinned to the floor he drops the knife and starts crying into his hands. You see the opportunity to strike. In my headcanon of UNDERTALE’s au’s this is the last timeline, it goes undertale, then bad time trio, then last breath, then this. I was thinking it didn’t make any sense that sans didn’t try literally anything else before deciding to murder the underground, but a natural progression of different things being tried and failing made a lot more sense. It’s been many different runs since the last pacifist route, many times the underground was cleared of all inhabitants, and Sans remembered them all. Each time the human’s fun value has been different and so tiny changes had always occurred, the underground forcing him to comply with each new narrative, at first it had been little things, him swapping places with papyrus, a version of the underground where that despicable weed was the “nice” one. He had even been able to team up with the king. Then teamed up with his brother from another timeline, and the first fallen human. Nothing changed, sure the human died plenty but they kept coming back, until the last time where even if their attacks seemed less determined than usual, they still returned. The timeline wherein he found the power of DETERMINATION. He swore to his last breath to stop the human, and an old man had aided him. Their powers combined clearly put a strain on the human. But it failed. Still that Determination was useful, if only he could acquire more. Suddenly, understanding of the human’s power dawned and he started for the ruins with a dreadful goal in mind. You walk through the ruins barely encountering anyone, the place was empty and the dust in the air was so thick you choked at times, without encountering more than a few froggits and whimsums you made it to Snowdin, and then to the gate where Sans would have met you in another time. You could hear the snow crunching as he approached, and you prepared to turn beaming as you said you’d finally fought off Frisk’s harmful influence and were willing to help the underground escape to the surface when you noticed his maroon eyes set in purple. He stretched out his hand and as you took it, bones began shooting through your body, followed by the loud hum of a gaster blaster charging. You tried to explain yourself and beg him to stop but blood filled your mouth as you felt Frisk stir at this new threat. Eventually you felt yourself falling, falling into depths darker, yet darker. The continue and reset buttons appeared, the continue button was pushed but it wasn’t your hand on it, and it wouldn’t be until Frisk had their fun.

In my headcanon of UNDERTALE’s au’s this is the last timeline, it goes undertale, then bad time trio, then last breath, then this. I was thinking it didn’t make any sense that sans didn’t try literally anything else before deciding to murder the underground, but a natural progression of different things being tried and failing made a lot more sense. It’s been many different runs since the last pacifist route, many times the underground was cleared of all inhabitants, and Sans remembered them all. Each time the human’s fun value has been different and so tiny changes had always occurred, the underground forcing him to comply with each new narrative, at first it had been little things, him swapping places with papyrus, a version of the underground where that despicable weed was the “nice” one. He had even been able to team up with the king. Then teamed up with his brother from another timeline, and the first fallen human. Nothing changed, sure the human died plenty but they kept coming back, until the last time where even if their attacks seemed less determined than usual, they still returned. The timeline wherein he found the power of DETERMINATION. He swore to his last breath to stop the human, and an old man had aided him. Their powers combined clearly put a strain on the human. But it failed. Still that Determination was useful, if only he could acquire more. Suddenly, understanding of the human’s power dawned and he started for the ruins with a dreadful goal in mind. You walk through the ruins barely encountering anyone, the place was empty and the dust in the air was so thick you choked at times, without encountering more than a few froggits and whimsums you made it to Snowdin, and then to the gate where Sans would have met you in another time. You could hear the snow crunching as he approached, and you prepared to turn beaming as you said you’d finally fought off Frisk’s harmful influence and were willing to help the underground escape to the surface when you noticed his maroon eyes set in purple. He stretched out his hand and as you took it, bones began shooting through your body, followed by the loud hum of a gaster blaster charging. You tried to explain yourself and beg him to stop but blood filled your mouth as you felt Frisk stir at this new threat. Eventually you felt yourself falling, falling into depths darker, yet darker. The continue and reset buttons appeared, the continue button was pushed but it wasn’t your hand on it, and it wouldn’t be until Frisk had their fun.
