Thanks man, I was trying to take this thing apart for an hour till I saw your video and realized I had to take the keyboard out first and couldn't go bottom first.
Great video, showed me what I needed to know to pop the keyboard off to be able to get my screen hinge put back together when the screws came out. Thanks!!
my god! u just made that look like rocket science. you really dont have to take the whole thing apart like that...neway if you cracked your screen go to laptopscreens with the dottttt and commmm they got screens for all brands/models and they are really really cheap. and there is another method to remove your screen without taking the whole laptop apart
Amazing video...my screen goes black sometimes, and if I close and open it again, it'll be fine. After seeing what's involved in taking it apart, I'm afraid to try it though, lol. I can fix the old IBM laptops that I used to have, but these HPs are more complicated!! Any opinion on what the problem might be? I hope it's just a loose cable...

Can anyone tell me what the part number is for the video cable? Trying to buy the part on ebay but they have both a 16" and 15.6 cable available and several different part numbers which are capatible. How can I find out which cable to buy. My computer is the HP G60-235X. Is the part number written on the cable? Of course i would rather not have to take the computer apart just to get the cable part number. I called HP and they would not tell me that information. Can you believe that?
I like how you've got shit music playing on the video instead of telling how the wires were plugged. Great job.

You left on the shipping plastic on the screen.. Why? Was it an oversight, or intentional?
