Why did you turn off the emergency lane keeping? Mercedes-Benz has one of the best, I would always keep it on. It doesn't even make wrong warnings and can know if you actually want to cross a line on purpose or if you are drifting off (e.g. when you are sleepy)! And why have you turned of Active Blind Spot Assist? It can save lives!
Hello, thank you for your interesting question. Indeed, I have deactivated everything, and I generally deactivate everything because I find that on Mercedes, the sensors are far too sensitive, and it has happened several times that they get in the way. My job is to drive people, and incessant blind spot beeps and unexpected braking, which are more dangerous than anything else, are not something I’m interested in 😅
@@Drivenger But it's for safety 😇 and thats what you want when traveling with people (also I am sure you can turn these beeps off without deactivating these systems. On top of that you can be happy to drive such a safe car (our Hyundai beeps for lane departure, blind spot, rear cross traffic, ....) Pretty much every 10 Minutes on a B-road drive.
@@A-fy7vt I drive brand new mercedes sprinters and vitos on a daily basis due to my line of work, and i find that it makes it more unsafe and unpredictable
It’s not hating safety tech it’s just facts that in Europe this is way too sensitive and create many dangerous situations, It already happened to me several times an emergency braking but absolutely no danger was here, it just sometimes over react and create dangerous situations. And that is a shame because it should be useful instead
This was nicely shot! 👏
Thank you 🥰
Hi, do you think the noise level is acceptable? Does it make you feel uncomfortable? Thanks
Hi ! I didn't feel anything about the noise level, all good :)
@ Personally the noise is my first concern, thanks for your feedback.

@@mathiasvries that is nonsense - Mercedes stands for safety (i don’t get it why so many people hate live saving tech?!?)
