Not sure he'll get the NL MVP this year because the voters/traditionalists have an aversion to voting a DH as MVP. I doubt his arm will allow him to play in the field for more than 25% of the games this year. My bet, the NL MVP will go to Manny Machado.

Now this reply I'm writing is again in September where Phil's were just swept by braves and harper was 1 for 13 with a single . Since Harpers return from IR the Phil's are 3 games under 500 and harpers batting 212 with 26 Ks . While harper was on IR the Phil's played 14 games above 500 . HARPER And his 330 million dollar price tag gotta go . The year after the NATS traded harper away the won a title JS
