Great footage! However, I am left wanting. I was able to watch some of this from my house, but missed a bunch. No T-Birds, really? Well, I got quite a bit of them from my home...but it's still disappointing
It was a great big air show! End of June is a really bad time for it's too hot and too sunny. I couldn't endure more than 2 hours and I'm a red lobster with painful face and arms tonight. It was brutal conditions. If I do it in 2 years again, I'm going for the VIP pass to get a seat in the shade and cold drinks as coolers nor proper ice water are possible with the drink and food stands way overpriced. Lots of good static displays in a large area to explore. They need to move it to Spring or Fall for I and many people missed what we came to see. The F-35 Lightening B's for the weather conditions and really long walk to and from the entrance is truly brutal, particularly for older people and most civilians. The shuttle buses were really too far from the front gate entrance requiring really long hot walks without drinking water and rest areas. I'm watching this video for I missed most of it. I hope DOD considers what ruins this experience for many people that they put so much effort and resources to produce.
@@groggysword33 No, there wasn't anything more I could bring or do other than a hat or small umbrella to block the sun. It was over kill on the cold beverage and food vendor prices. Coolers aren't allowed and the weather was excruciatingly hot and the walks to and from unnecessarily far. Military did great, but the planners need to improve.
@@Worldofourown2024 You could bring an umbrella and chairs. You could bring a cooler. It’s an airbase. There’s going to be long distances to walk. This isn’t Disney land. The runway inaccessible for a reason. My proof? I was there for both Saturday and Sunday. You didn’t effectively plan what you needed and what you’ll be doing. Take responsibility for your inability. It’s not up to the committee to hear terrible feedback for your lack of responsibility for your safety.
@@groggysword33 On it's website of do's and don't, it said coolers are not permitted. Go check it out. You are wrong. Sure there people pulling wagons with coolers and they were also being turned back to put in their cars. I guess I could have brought a sealed ice water bottle for sealed water bottles is a do on the list. Why were the food and drink stands so silly over priced? It's an airshow on an airbase so it's supposed to be patriotic instead of greedy and idiotic.
@@Worldofourown2024 You’re wrong. I literally had a cooler. Go check the prohibited items again. It’s the very first one in the prohibited but it had an exception. They allowed small coolers for medication and baby food. This we used to store pedialyte and other cold medical drinks. We also put pre packaged snack foods in the cooler. We had zero issues getting through. Once again. Your lack of understanding makes you an exception. The vendors can charge any price they want as long as people will buy what they sell.
So amazing (thinking of the wright brothers)
Brilliant Air Force practice, keep it up🌌

It sounds like you were just extremely unprepared for what the situation really called for.
