AEW at it's best has guys like Omenga, Ospreay, Takeshita and Fletcher in the ring at the same time at the beginning. It's great when they can get Ricochet over as a heel and make him feel fresh. It's the Casino Gauntlet matches. That's when it's exciting. But when you have such a bad segment of Jeff Jarrett & MJF where we're talking about moms, wives and a dead wrestler that died tragically, and another main event angle of people trying to 'kill' or 'save' the company (which we've been stuck with since the airing of that Punk footage with the Elite and now Death Riders) it can suck the air out of the company and the night. And it's infuriating because you see the building blocks right there.
preach, no reason for Mox and friends to be this ethereal this far into this storyline, Bray and Malikai Black's storytelling suffered from the fantasy of it all and Mox might as well be in a fantasy movie with how broad his issues and concerns are as they relate to the shows hes on
It was an enjoyable show. some good matches. things are moving, I have a feeling revolution will be a very good ppv and things should be more clear by this weeks dynamite
I'm sorry, but the first ever women's Casino Gauntlet should have felt like a much bigger deal than in it ended up being. They should have had more women in the match, and it should have been a longer match. Once again AEW promotes a big women's match and fails to stick the landing.
This was a awful show. Not sure how you found so many positives. Death riders is awful. Mjf has fallrn so bad, the venue was decnt but crowd was low energy, and GOOD GOD stop giving ricochett a microphone
