This method worked for me today. The trick is to pop deterrence during the Magmatoxin cast and start your Tame Beast as late as possible *while he is still casting* since he can't evade while casting, that makes the timing work out so that your channel ends during the second Magmatoxin cast while he can't evade. If your Tame Beast cast finishes while he's not casting then he will just evade it at the end of your channel. Happy hunting!
Just did it today (29/9/24) it works. The suffocating prey aura will sometimes interrupt the tame for some reasons soy you just have to try again. It will eventually work, no core hound, potion, or outside assistance needed.
This method is probably fixed, when he cast magmatoxin on you, you get a little bit of damage that interrupts the cast. BUT you can cast Tame Beast just AFTER the magmatoxin ends before she evades and you get the tame through
I tried probably 10x with this method. What ended up working for me was going into BM spec, using trap launcher+snake trap, starting the tame, casting deference when it starts casting, and then casting tame again. I feel like they may have patched the old method, but this way (snakes) may keep him "available" if that makes any sense. I don't know if it was a fluke or something, but try it out if you are having problems with this videos explanation.
Has this been fixed?? I can’t seem to do it lol.. stood in the same spot doing exactly what you do but every time its evade,evade,evade then it casts another one but when it does I can use tame beast but I die lol

Managed to finish my Tame Beast cast with the help of the Conalescence of Winds Buff which gives 100% Haste. However, Kirix evades the tame, when the cast is finished.
Not working for me either. Tried twice now with corehound lust, the tame beast cast finishes uninterrupted but nothing happens. Edit: Just got it by going on the closer rock, popping corehound lust and taming immediately. Didn't even wait for the magma toxin cast and the tame finished before it.

not sure how you got to that spot you started from.
-Doesn't work on live, since the Tame Beast get's evaded.-
