couple things. Rep pair has a smudge on midsole with blacklight and Cactus Jack logo is off position on the rep pair. just a quick bit of feedback here
@@JDMoreno while these things you named are differences between this particular retail pair and this particular rep, both are acceptable and can be present on retail pairs. the smudge is paint correction. It happens on many retail pairs as well. And the cactus Jack logo on the side is positioned within retail range. On a size 11 like this all you need to see is the stitching touching the C. It’s never exactly the same position on retail pairs and you can actually see that across the different Travis Scott lows on my channel.
With these shoes being mass produced retail or reps... the inconsistency is smthg thats bound to happen.... at least with the reps you get to check qc pics... nike doesn't offer that.... either way just rock shoe..
@@dwayneterrell3143 that’s fair. But I can also unload the retail pair for triple what I paid for it and move on to another shoe. I know people don’t like talking about resell value but it’s still a benefit
Hey bro.. where is the Real vs Real comparison video? You should black light both pairs "Cactus" lettering and you will notice a big difference in the neon luminosity.
What's crazy is that if you don't have a real pair to compare to in person, there doesn't seem to be a reliable "check this one thing" to authenticate. You threw out the hair on the footbed, but is that it? If you don't have another pair to compare shades of color to, this seems impossible to authenticate.
@@barbouradam apps that can scan the stitching underneath the insole like legit app will be able to identify a fake as well. Outside of that, there’s the insole like your mentioned, the box, the label, the boxes that hold the spare laces. Everything else is subtle. Atleast for this specific batch
Probably the smell and the cactus jack tags are never lined up properly on the tongue. Also no one ever checks for the code behind the tongue under the stitching. And then behind the Nike air on the front will have a white line behind it on the green part of the tongue. Also the hair on the cactus jack on the insole and embroidery are diff
The #1 way to tell if these shoes are real or fake. Without watching this video I can tell the pair at the bottom @ 9:31 is fake. The authentic pair suffers from a QC issue from Nike on 99% of their shoes. The blemish at the rim of the shoe right where the Nike swoosh ends at the top. The swoosh is pointing at it. Now go watch every other video and you will see the same blemish. Fakes cant replicate this.
