Hii, I’m a 23 year old from the Netherlands but being insecure about going on summer camp next year because I have no experience in supervising children. Reasons I want to be a counsellor is that I have always had a fascination with American culture and want to get to know the culture better, but especially because I really want to step out of my comfort zone because I think it would be great fun to take care of it, that the kids have a great summer. I can be insecure sometimes especially in new surroundings but being away from home for multiple months abroad is not gonna be a problem because I did an internship for 5 months in Spain. I am very open to learning new things and love working in a team, also I love sports😜 do you have any tips because I really don’t know where to start and if it is a problem that I don’t have experience in supervising children and that I can be insecure sometimes?
were you allowed your phone on you at all times? even if you weren't able to use it at certain times? im worried when i go to camp i wont be allowed my phone and im wanting to take lotssss of photos
At my camp we could only have our phones when we had time off and not around the kids but there are camp photographers everywhere taking pictures of everything and what i ddi was just ask them every time i wanted to take a pic :)
So AmeriCamps fees rn are £399 and i also have a discount code (ELLA30) so you would only have to pay £369 to apply and get your interviews with camp and everything sorted then flights can range from £400/£600 depending how and when you book but then when you get payed a minimum of $2000 you break even if not make a profit whilst having the best summer ever!
I love crocs.
