There's a mashup of this song with both Lauren Daigle and Angelina trading off sections of the song. It starts out with Lauren, and I thought, wow she sounds just like Angelina. Then they cut to Angelina, and I immediately got chills. I realized that Lauren sounds a little like Angelina, but no one sounds as good as her. Even the original, as good as it is, doesn't have the emotional depth of Angelina's version.

There's a 'back and forth' video out there where Angelina and Lauren are performing and 'at times' it is quite difficult to know which one is singing. Angelina, being the 'vocal chameleon' she is, can emulate the vocals of numerous A-List singers and stays 'spot on' with Lauren's arrangement. Angelina will display more power than Lauren, which she does harness to a good degree but in the lower register of the song, you can tell when Angelina is singing, since she commands those low keys like no one else.

I'd never heard the song until AJ covered it, and then I listened to Lauren Daigle's original. Someone did a mashup, which is very good. Their voices blend nicely. Hopefully after Angelina turns 18, Republic Records will get the go-ahead from her family to really promote her. It's so great that they didn't toss her out into the wilds of the music industry before she became an adult. A lot of Angels feel impatient, but obviously she's just growing better and better!

When I first watched Angelina singing at Nobel Unchained. I then went and found the I think the Full 54min long version that show all the other artest's singing their including the interview with the twin brother and sister who are AJ's age, the farther, the Uncle. When Angelina Started singing I burst into tears. I knew how much this meant to Angelina and Grandma Mery. The tears. The title giving song is a new cover, the other four are from her 2021 Online Christmas Show (where "You Say" was also from), but I don't think you've reacted to those either. Angelina on December 11th sang at the Nobel Peace Prize tribute to Narges Mohammadi, this years' recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize. Narges, is currently on a hunger strike while imprisoned in Iran, for being an activist for women's rights. Her two children spoke on her behalf at this event. Most of the performers were Iranian. We know Angelina's grandmother, Mery Zamani, grew up in Iran and was a prodigy for painting and poetry. We can imagine the conversations Mery had with Angelina about Narges. This performance had to be extremely meaningful to Angelina and her family. I hope all the angels will spread the story of Narges and her mission, with the hope for change. Knowing this connection Angelina and her family has with Narges, puts her version of "Unchained Melody" in proper context. "Unchained Melody" is from the 1955 movie, "Unchained" and is about someone longing for a loved one who is in prison.

She released a 5 song Christmas EP "Driving Home For Christmas" on Dec. 8th. It's audio only, you'll find it in the Releases tab/section at her official channel. Unfortunetely, RUclips does not sent notifications to subscribers for such audio-only releases via RUclips Music. The title giving song is a new cover, the other four are from her 2021 Online Christmas Show (where "You Say" was also from), but I don't think you've reacted to those either. You could find videos for those, though the songs were likely remastered for the EP release.
You've noticed her Nobel Peace Prize performance already; two weeks prior she sang "Can't Help Falling In Love" at the Debutante Ball ("le Bal") in Paris, where she was invited to participate for her musical talent and achievements.

Happy New Year 🎉 What a great song choice for Angelina! She's such a messenger... Her performance at the Nobel Peace Prize demonstrates thoughtfulness as she sings firstly to the children of the woman who's in prison for fighting for human rights but also to the rest of the world.
You really need to do her Unchained Melody at the Nobel Peace Prize awards!! It's another extremely powerful song with a full orchestra! Another chill, beautiful song. She sang it for the recipient Narges Mohammadi, who is in prison for 30 yrs, in Iran, for speaking out for human and women's rights. A perfect song for this occasion!

Angelina on December 11th sang at the Nobel Peace Prize tribute to Narges Mohammadi, this years' recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize. Narges, is currently on a hunger strike while imprisoned in Iran, for being an activist for women's rights. Her two children spoke on her behalf at this event. Most of the performers were Iranian.
We know Angelina's grandmother, Mery Zamani, grew up in Iran and was a prodigy for painting and poetry. We can imagine the conversations Mery had with Angelina about Narges. This performance had to be extremely meaningful to Angelina and her family. I hope all the angels will spread the story of Narges and her mission, with the hope for change.
Knowing this connection Angelina and her family has with Narges, puts her version of "Unchained Melody" in proper context. "Unchained Melody" is from the 1955 movie, "Unchained" and is about someone longing for a loved one who is in prison.

At the very end of the Christmas Show on December 23, 2021, (she was 15 and would turn 16 on January 10, 2022). Angelina performed "You Say", and she stated this is for my fans. I lost my breath, and I got chills, and the tears began to fall. I am an atheist, and my faith is in mankind, and the universe, the antithesis of chaos, not some mythical being. I believe the song "You Say" is referring to Angelina's Angles, those that support her in her quest. There must be a supernatural place in the universe, how else can we explain this being called Angelina Jordan. And just like you, this is my all time favorite performance by her. That being said, the one you heard a snippet of before you left is EXTREMELY high up there. Many of her fans say that THAT one is her best performance to date. I can't wait to see what you think when (hopefully not IF) you react to it. I haven't read all the comments yet, but I guess someone has given you some of the details around that performance as well.
