At least you can't hate his personality. He was a free man and walked the streets freely.

Why do Ugandans allow this man to sugarcoat the fact that his father killed 500,000 people often in cold blood. Brutal deaths where people were hit with sledge hammers until their skulls cracked. Their bodies would then be dumped in the river Nile or Lake Kyoga.
Show some sympathy for the many children who saw their parents picked up by soldiers, never saw them again, then decades later read stories about how their parents were tortured to death by Amin or his goons.

Question: what is the full name of the song and artist that is playing up until the first 24 seconds of this video?
It’s very beautiful and I would love to listen to it in full.

@@knowthesigns8340 no, such songs faded away during the 80s and were not preserved. Download the video and go to Ugandan music museum(if there is one)and show them. I believe they might help u. Am a Kenyan and all Kenyan music from 50s are preserved in a museum

Idi Amin was the greatest African leader ever lived on this earth. They portray him as the bad person but thats a lie. For Africa to archive something in this corrupt world they need a leader like Amin.

The only blunder he did was invading Tanzania and taking over their towns of kagera. It was a big mistake. Also chasing away the Asians was not humanity

It helped Ugandan business in the long run. Just like the Chinese now competing with locals for business. It is not good for the local business
