Jesus, the pain it numbs The pain for a little bit. As well as the itching in your throat. Do not eat any pineapples. At all that is a no no. Do warm or cold food.soft whatever works for you.

Watching your video brought back all the memories of this same procedure that I had many years ago. What I remember the most of course, was the pain and not being able to taste the soft foods that I was having. Food got boring pretty quickly and I did the same thing you did. I ate something that my throat was not ready to handle. Oh the pain and frustration! Anyway, I'm glad you came through it O.K.
