I think it's awesome that you guys are collabing to support him after he decided he was finished with all collabs for good. I've tried explaining to people that I'm heading into burnout and have found that it gets misunderstood nearly 100% of the time, so now I just collapse and handle it myself. People always want to help in all the ways I don't need it then act like I'm just ungrateful. Ugh. Hang in there Orion!
I've been in long term burnout for 1.5 years now 😢 I lived 45 years beyond all my limits without knowing I was AuDHD. It's scary I don't know if it will ever end 😞 and I will probably never be able to work full time ever again. I do not hear much about chronic long term burnout that lasts years 😮...I think it could be unique experience for those who are late diagnosed? I get so much support from you and your friends Orion, Thank you ❤🎉

Jenn! LOL! You nailed that impersonation! Such a wonderful thing you and Claire have done! I love this! When I'm in burnout, I really need people to stop asking me questions. If people keep pushing me to identify my feelings and explain everything WHILE in burnout, it can add to my stress. IMO, having conversations about burnout should occur outside of burnout periods; just as a courtesy.
Yes you can barely identify if you want to go and do something and being given choices of what you want to eat is too hard, you know if they got it wrong though. What you are feeling is way too hard otherwise the only answer you are going to get is angry and frustrated.

Good job girls! I went through a catastrophic burnout event 18 years ago and have never fully recovered. I can function much better now than I could when it happened, but I'll never regain my full function. I'm just glad that autistic burnout is being talked about, studied, and accepted as a real, devastating condition.
Orion, if you're reading this, you do whatever you need to do to take care of yourself. We will be here when you get back!

My 56 years have been many burnouts and meltdowns. Today we're all in this together! Better days are coming. Thank you Everyone sharing your uniqueness! Burned myself out for a couple of years, really hard, and then nearly completely shutdown for (many) months and then it is like just functioning in the capacity that one needs to is further burnout, and now as soon as I'm not in crisis I just jump right back in. IDK. Bought the book but am reading it slow as it really hits. Liked and subscribed these good friends of yours.

The Hache-R office got me 🤣🤣 Wonderful to have this level of support. I so wish I could have someone impersonate me at work but then I'd probably cry because I'm a sensitive bean and my feelings would be hurt 🤣🤦🏽♀️

I like the unmasked videos. It helps y’all autistic RUclipsrs feel far more relatable because the unedited you is far more like me on a daily basis. Social media gives EVERYONE such a skewed version of reality. I know it will be harder for NTs to watch, or random videos coming to the channel to watch a video that randomly popped up on their field, but as an AuDHD in full burnout going on 5 years it lets my brain vent, it gives voice to the things I cannot find then vocabulary for. It gives me the permission I need to be able to act NATURALLY for my self full of stims and all. I didn’t receive my diagnosis until a month ago at almost 39. I’m still in the process of accepting, forgiving myself, and processing a lifetime of trauma. My words rarely work right when I’m trying to talk verbally, it comes out wrong, it doesn’t mean what I want it to mean, or the word order gets all garbled.
Anyway, I APPRECIATE the unmasked videos. I feel his burnout. I can only hope that this will help eachother. These lovely ladies I’ll have to watch a bit more of, but I relate more to the energy of Orion but if he vibes well with him I think I will like them too. He is how I think I would act if I didn’t have a lifetime of people telling me I’m being too dramatic, too weird, too chaotic, too flightly..to the point where my husband can’t even tell if I’m happy or having a good time because I’m so damn program to hold it all in. I can show serious/bad emotions easily, but happiness is hard since that part was just edited out… and I don’t even know how that part of me WOULD act.

Saturdays have become my designated burnout / sleep / zone out day. I will sleep 14+ hours, easily. I know not to try to accomplish anything on this day, yet I still have my narrator tell me things that I could do. If I had the capacity to do them.

As someone who experiences burnouts (and worse!) 50% of the time for 46 years now, and spending most of my available energy enduring and masking this, and trying not shutting down completely... I know the struggle. I hope Orion bounces back soon, because the low a burnout presents IS the 7th layer of Dante's hell, for sure.

Bravo 👏👏👏 Jenn & Claire. I've been burnt out for a few years now due to many factors. I'm still under significant distress factors & running on enrgy fumes & less most days. I am going to take your advice & go do something for myself even tho I'm self isolating & have been for awhile now. Orion, love you dropping in from time to time. I'm just not always sure when you're dropping in. I think the "Live Sessions" you do are great & a change from you producing content all the time. It's like having a friend drop in to visit which is something I don't have & I'm sure so many others may not have either.Loved your new t-shirt today. Ladies, you are both so amazing & such great friends to Orion. This collab is great & extremely educational. Take the pressure off yourself & drop in time to time. 😍And if you really get bored, pull up a Utube vid made for cats. Even a stranger showing that they care can do much for a person and how their day will turn out. Just the thought of reaching out a helping hand can do a lot and that could be enough.

For Orion to reach out to friends for help in the first place, because without that, we wouldn't have seen how by doing this, it produced such positive results. I’ve burnt out pretty bad lately trying to build a game dev career while dashing for money. I’m 29, had almost 30 jobs and they’re only getting harder to last at before burning out. At least I’m about ready to release content finally

Hey Orion! I love your voice, your accent, your caring attitude and your Hawaiian shirts! I would watch a video of you just talking about nothing important or reading a classic childhood book or reading new science discoveries! Like any ADHD ASD people, I have trouble falling asleep. I need to listen to a familiar comforting voice talking about some topic that is interesting but not too interesting…a topic that doesn’t evoke any strong emotions. Sometimes I listen to trades people talk intelligently about, say, how to pour concrete or something I never plan to do🤣
