that last play was actually by design. Ryan Williams said they talked about it from watching film and knew the corner was gonna squat on that hook leaving that void behind him open. That is why Milroe threw it with anticipation because he knew what Ryan Williams was going to hitch wait a few ticks then go.

Another bama fan here, the only thing i will say in defense of Proctor is the fact we have a sophomore coming in after having spring and the first 2 games off with an injury so these is really his first game action since the playoffs last year. Great breakdown though! Hard to find someone that can breakdown the play of all positions not just one.

I think Bama has kept their offense as vanilla as possible for these past few games just to not show much on tape for Georgia

74 couldn't handle a bull rush last year either.
Milroe's eyes are on the outside CB bailing in cover 3 on the last play. The CB is in conflict without even knowing it. if he cheats toward Williams the slot is wide open in the seam. Wouldn't make that much sense to run the TE into a hitch so he's just there to occupy the slot corner. Williams almost seems like a user controlled player in a video game here. I think DeBoer's strength is attacking specific things the defense does, so this week will look completely different and he basically just burned that perfect play against Wisconsin because it was only designed for Wisconsin

It'll be a great match up. Alabama fan but Georgia has always been my close second and what a battle of the titans this will be. I think kirby has a very sound coaching staff and Debor is in the first year. I'd expect Georgia to win but I'd love Alabama to pull this one out.

Is that *really* their base offense or were they keeping it vanilla? Same question about the desgned QB runs... I'd expect some wrinkles in key moments. Not bringing back complex RPOs but something they haven't put on tape yet this year. ESPECIALLY if it worked in the SECC last year.

100%, I could see them trying that and probably getting that a few times.
I also think UGAs safeties/stars play run support and shoot the alleys better than anyone else in College. So 12 just needs to set the edge if possible
Good stuff! You’re one of the seemingly few individuals that will actually point out Milroe’s complete lack of “pocket presence” & inability to diagnose a defense. Dude is a beast & one hell of an athlete! He just hasn’t proven he’s capable of processing what’s happening in front of him in real time & reacting accordingly based off what the D gives him..! Bama’s OC has to schematically prepare for the opposing defense & JM’s lack of “football IQ..”. I love me some JM - just continue to be baffled by some of the decisions he makes with the amount of PT he has at this point. He looks like a heisman finalist one play & like it’s his first snap/game the next..! RTR!!! Looking forward to Saturday!

Milroe is just INCREDIBLY strong, dude can sling it halfway across the field by flicking his wrist. On the famous 4th and 31 last year, dude hauls that ball like 60 yards across the field in the blink of an eye.
Imagine what he could be if we fixed the confusing mechanics?

The thing about this game that scares me is if Alabama plays to their potential and Georgia doesn’t. If they both play to their averages I think Georgia is a better team.

That last play was undisciplined defense. That looked like a confused defense. They didn't know if they were zone or man on that one. You don't hit that throw with a Malaki Starks or Ellis Robinson on the field. They're too fast and too disciplined to give up that type of play. They would be all over Ryan Williams, and in all honesty might actually end up being one of those Malaki Starks picks that he made against Clemson the first game, and Oregon a few years ago
You’re uncommonly fair for an opposing team fan but your play and qb read breakdowns are my favorites (especially since I never played but love the game). Would like to hear less bad words since I would like to watch with the kids. Another banger Brooks! Bama has an advantage on offense, defenses are both elite, & Bama has the best punter/fg kicker in the country! Special teams often decides these Collossal Games, and its in Tuscaloosa. Georgia doesn't have elite offensive players like years past & if Bama gets a lead Deboer will absolutely go for the juglar! Georgia is goin to have to score 35+ to win & i just don't see it especially in Tuscaloosa! Bama wins 35-21
Entertaining pundits like Andy and Ati are picking Bama to win straight up, but your expert breakdown reveals vulnerabilities Georgia can exploit. Plus, Georgia has superior talent on D compared to Wisconsin (and O, too, of course), and I would expect better discipline in not deviating from each player's job. Perhaps this is why Vegas has Georgia as the favorite despite it being a road game. The Dawgs need for Beck to bring his A game and the O line to show improvement and they'll have a good shot at winning.
Last one to 2 was scripted. As soon as the safety or corner (not sure which) ran to the center of the field Milroe knew it was over for Wis. I can't wait to see what else coach has schemed up for GA. I hope it's just the tip of the iceberg..... key word is hope. Milroes improving but not sure if he's quite there yet.
I think deboer brings out the best in this offense and really gain steam starting this week, Kendrick law, caleb odom, kobe Prentice make plays this week and jam miller is the big problem for UGA. If the UGA offense comes out stale like the clemson, Kentucky games, its blowout city. If milroe struggles i believe Dawgs win a close one.
