      It doesn't help that we are (UK fan) Georgia lite. We typically match up really well with y'all just don't have the same talent level. SO why shouldn't we take them and learn what we can to improve the program. lol

Very similar situation with Caleb Downs, if Georgia had landed him I’d feel so much better matching up with a team we already match up well against, and lose to more often than not. I think any team would’ve loved JDJ and Brock, and having both of them on the same team leading your offense and defense is a massive boost if you can make it happen, which UK did.

  • @garrettroberts7937

    The thing about trying to get a team to jump offsides on 4th and short is how you have to actually run up to the line and snap the ball for an easy 1st every now and then. The psychological advantage only works if the other team thinks you might actually try and snap the ball for a first. If not it’s a useless waste of a time-out. So you have to sell it by actually snapping the ball and going for it on 4th as if you are lining up for a hard count. It surprises me how many coaches in the nfl and college get this wrong.

      And it was not just that advantage either - the defense kept them in the SC game for more than two quarters despite their offense absolutely melting down and giving the Gamecocks the ball around midfield over and over and over.
      Classic Stoops Ball - long, methodical drives to rest his defense, very few offensive snaps for the opposing team, have a chance at the end. That's the Mark Stoops 3-legged stool of Kentucky football since he got there.

    What a great win for the Dawgs against a hostile environment that was geared for the upset. The defense was stellar and took up the slack for the offensive woes. There is nothing better than winning on the road in this conference. Not many teams could have won the game if they were in the position of the Dawgs. Dawgs showed resilience and learned a lesson while still winning and remaining undefeated. A win is a win and allows you to stay at the top of the conference and not behind the teams that haven't loss. Go Dawgs beat Bama

    It seemed there would be one player that would mess up and it would throw off the whole play for 75% of the game. Just don’t understand the Bobo blame game for this one. Been looking forward to this breakdown!! Thanks for doing what you do.

    Part of the problem is no one fears the long ball. Safeties are 10 yds deep.

    Not very nice of Brooks to disrupt my regularly scheduled bashing of Bobo the Bozo 👿
    Jokes aside, this study is gas. Thank you Brooks. This level of collective failure will not cut it against Alabama, and I'm sure Kirby is in the lab. Excited to see the change we can get from this stimulus.

    I’ve been waiting for this one. If Georgia’s defense isn’t able to stop the run then they are going to be in trouble against Alabama. I think Carson Beck is a great quarterback but he’s so used to winning that when he gets put into a position that is stressful for him he tends to make game breaking mistakes.

    • @stephencurry4835
      @stephencurry4835 Месяц назад

      If being down 3-0 in the first is stressful. He shouldn’t play another snap at QB again.

      @@stephencurry4835 I’ve seen multiple times where Carson Beck had made mistakes after facing a lot of pressure from the defense. One thing people don’t talk about much either is him fumbling the ball. He did it last year vs bama in the SEC Championship by fumbling the ball on thier own 20 yard line and he did it a few times vs Kentucky. I’m not trying to hate on the kid but I’m just pointing out that he does get flustered and make mistakes.

      Bama was just a blunder. Ran that play to perfection every time and they didn’t that time.

    Brooks, do you anticipate some shuffling around position wise on the O line? Even if Tate didn’t go down seems like 71 needs to play guard.

    I've lost hope on this season because of the offense, and next season due to the loss of talent. Maybe in a couple of years, if Terry and Griffin are in the fold with E. Robinson and KJ... Frazier, Elyiss, Pug... maybe then. But I expect the worst in Tuscaloosa that could set the stage for 3 more games this year.
