I’m so into the book community online that when I saw BOTM on shipment boxes at work, I thought of Book of the Month rather than an indication of the bottom of the box 😂
the video has not started and I'd like to thank all of us who manifested that 5 star read for you from previous comments 😌😌😌😌 we did that and omg your 5star is what I got as an audiobook! I cannot remember which booktubers fault that is, or if it was an audiobook rec too 🤣🤣 but I am looking forward to this now!!
I read the first Veronica Speedwell book in March, and fell in love with it. And I'm so glad you enjoyed Vera Wong; I read it last year, and it immediately became one of my favorites.
I hadn’t had a 5⭐️ read since end of June and I also gave Vera Wong a 5⭐️ in February! It was so good, I loved the found family-it was the best, really everything you talked about I felt the same! Loved it so much ❤ ☕️ 🫖
Currently 70% through Faebound and I’m so glad you feel the same way. I am confused because I enjoy the plot but hate the writing. It’s somehow too short? The author was not descriptive at all, I can barely imagine what any of the characters look like. The way the paragraphs were written also had no paragraph breaks so there are often sudden scene jumps that can confuse you if you’re not giving the book 100% of your attention.
The sequels to Spark of the Everflame are so much better. Keep going, I promise you! Side note: Diem got on my nerves at times but I still like her lol
I read Rain of Shadows and Endings because of you, and now I'm on the third book of Lady of Darkness series. I'm obsessed! Hope to hear your thoughts on the series if you do read it! 🫖☕️
A Fate Inked in Blood was a 3 star read for me same with Bride. Fate had a strong plot on the beginning for me, but kinda fizzled out compared to other romantasy series I'm used to, like Spark of the Everflame that is captivating from beginning to start.Hoping the sequel is better, like you said. But LOVE the Spark series!!
i need to pick back up the Veronica Speedwell series. I stopped at book 5 because i was so satisfied/didn't want it to be over but I am so glad to hear it continues to be great.
I agree that Bride had the most relatable/non cartoonish characters of all Ali Hazelwood books.

☕️ so happy you got a 5 star 🫶🏻🩷 also book 2 in the kindreds curse saga is a must!!
I felt the same way about A Fate Inked In Blood. She was such a doormat for her family. I hope she grows out of that soon.
Fingers crossed! I don’t have much hope for her tho 😂
🍵 I am so happy that you've finally had a 5 star read! It's been a long time coming.
Your bookshelf is so inspiring! Can't wait to hear some reviews
100% agree that Angele Masters does an incredible job narrating the Veronica Speedwell series!! I can't read the books without having the audio.
They're amazing in adding to the Victorian atmosphere and banter sassiness 😂
🍵 the Kindreds Curse saga is super slow burn but I can not get enough of it. Thanks for the recommendations!
🍵Thanks for sharing! I'm not a mystery reader but you made me want to read your 5 star!
I read Vera Wong last year absolutely fell in love with it! I listened to the audiobook in a day and I just had the best time☕️☕️☕️

Yes the scene where Vera gets sick got me so much. It was such a beautiful part of the book!! So happy for you that you found a 5 star 😊
I enjoyed Bride and I wish it was dual pov as well.
I loved Vera Wong too. She was hilarious. I also agree with you about Freya giving too much for ungrateful people.
🍵 Loved Vera Wong's Unsolicited Advice for Murders. It was one of my first 5-star reads of 2024.

Just for the summer was AMAZING! Especially if you’ve read Part of your world and Yours Truly!!!

I really like A Fate Inked In Blood but rolled my eyes a bit at the end because of the tropes. But am looking forward to the next book. 🫖
