First of all resistivity is not in your syllabus it's in AS level so don't bother with it> That's why the questions always say "made of the same metal/material". Now the question itself; twice as long means resistance is twice twice the diameter means area is x(2)^2, so resistance is divided by (2)^2 so the initial resistance 2 is multiplied by 2 then divided by 4 = 1 ohm Sorry for the late reply but I don't usually work on youtube.
