Katy always has a right on time message from God. You’re not in the scriptures to find a word about you, you’re in the scriptures to find a word about HIM🙌🏻
I one of my favorite moments with my wife is when we went out to eat on a date and my wife was witnessing a situation happening. It stirred something in her spirit and I was able to discern it was the Holy Spirit. She wasn't sure if it was ok to act on what she felt maybe the Lord was telling her. So I told her "let's pray about it" we held hands at our table and bowed down our heads as I led her in prayer. When we finished she had no shadow of a doubt she was supposed to take action. When she did the Lord open a door for ministry to a family going through a situation she had recently come out from and the Lord had seen her through it and provided for her in the middle of uncertainty. I saw my wife's faith grow to another level of confidence in listening and responding to the Holy Spirit. I praise God for every opportunity I get to witness the way HE works.
Thank you SO MUCH for this!! I’m just 10 mins in a weeping! I needed to hear the part about “force feeding” yourself The Word to create an appetite. I have been feeling like there’s something wrong with me because I love God, I hear from Him often throughout the day we are in constant connection and conversation but I have always struggled to read the Word. I know enough not to be led astray and point others to God but I didn’t have the desire or appetite for it like I desired and saw others had. This was my answer! Bless you both and Glory to God, I’m beyond grateful 🙏🏾🙌🏾
Thank you Amanda Pittman for helping me through this difficult time I been going through a lot spiritual warfare. Sometimes I feel like where is god in this but I remember god loves me he will never leave me nor forsake me amen.🥰😃
So true! I worked so hard to create a better life for myself & one night I sat in the living room, took a deep breath & thought, "I finally am safe." And then my whole world fell apart over the next 12 years & that's what it took to get me back to Jesus. It was a tough path but I didn't realize the one real thing I was missing & that was God & welcoming the Holy Spirit back into my life. I was so far from God but a Lauren Daigle song "Rescue" planted a seed that had the only lyrics to get through to me in my darkest times understanding that God was sending an Army to reach me. I was so angry that the only artist who could get through to me was one who didn't overtly sing about Jesus. I didn't want Him...but he knew I needed Him. She planted a seed that still took me another 9 months to truly realize. Beautiful.
This was such a beautiful, sobering conversation. It’s one of those convoys that recenters you and makes sure you’re focused on the right things! Thank you for this. God bless you both 🙌🏿

To be broken and live a constant surrendered life to God. It's a desire to honor God in everything, knowing that He alone is worthy of all that we are.
When your heart is set apart and surrendered to God meaning that anything that could corrupt its purity such as malice, envy, jealousy, un forgiveness, grudges etc you immediately go against your hearts desire to hold onto it and remove it
