Model Airport Update December 2023

- Happy holidays! Welcome to the December 2023 update featuring several new models and/or services to the model airport.
Terminal A:
The central entrance terminal is currently undergoing work to add more road signage which will be finished by the next update. Hawaiian has brought in their A330-200 for the winter season and the Southwest 'Desert Gold' makes an appearance.
Terminal B:
Used by United and star alliance partners, Terminal B continues to be busy with more configuration of gate space, this time not featuring any regional jets but instead fitting in as many mainline aircraft as possible. Air New Zealand's 'All Blacks' 777-300ER makes a special appearance!
Terminal C (Satellite Terminal):
Welcome ZIPAIR! Terminal C continues to host a diverse set of carriers in addition to Alaska and American. We're really excited to see what other services the airport can attract. Terminal C also features the new control tower with a good view over the airfield.
Remote Stands/FBO:
The remote stands at the airport have always been crucial for airlines needing somewhere to park their aircraft on longer turns. The airport has 5 widebody or 7 narrowbody stands in addition to empty parking space that has been the new location of a fixed base operator (FBO). This new facility will host charter and other VIP aircraft and fits the space well.

Sure, it's currently called the Oceanside International Airport closer to SAN
