I began to follow you for about a week ago. You are literal the highlight of my day! After 15 hours in school, the first thing I do before I go to sleep, is to watch your daily video. I study law, so my life is not covered by much other than school. I can not believe that I haven´t discovered youtube earlier. You give me so much and I adore you. Love from Norway.
If you like Ellie & Jared then you would love the Shaytards. They were the first family that started doing daily volgs back in 2009. They have 8 year of past volgs to watch too. Jared reminds me of the dad on the Shaytrads, just a God fearing happy and real men. I love Ellie & Jared they are the best.

I got so emotional seeing Ellie hug her babies when they came in the door. I don't even know them but I am so glad that they were able to have kids. Just think about how their life would be different if they were never able to have children. I have some friends that after 11 years of marriage and losing twins last year after IVF around twenty weeks, finally had a baby boy last Sunday without help from any type of fertility drugs. Kind of like E+J with Calvin. Anyway, just feeling grateful for my baby girl, and seeing the joy others are experiencing with their babies as well!💙
I think it's so awesome to see you guys being so excited to leave and go on a trip, but also being super excited to go back home! It's important to have things that make going home as exciting as leaving it and you guys are a great proof of that 😚💕✨

StephieAck ummmm...on behalf of those that have *actually had the Norovirus, I respectfully ask that you not just call any nasty virus the Norovirus! Having the Norovirus is debilitating! (I was held up in a hotel for a week with it! Vomitting/heaving uncontrollably. And it coming out the other end uncontrollably.) I don't say this to be extra graphic but to show you that there is no way Ellie could have traveled 24 hrs after she got sick.
SellyNue My family have had norovirus. One of the occasions my husband was out sick with it for over a week, but another year he was throwing up and the other end for just over 24 hours and then not totally well, but not dire ill, which Ellie still didn't feel good, just well enough to travel. I am not speaking of something I don't know of, trust me, I did the clean up after actual norovirus! Ok so Ellie may not have had it, but who is to judge that she didn't have a very mild strain of it, things aren't always one way, it can come in different forms and be the same thing, I know this from experience. Many doctors I have had contact with call it a 24 hour bug but still also call it noro, I will go with the doctors that advised me on this one. Sorry you had such a horrible experience with that nasty bug.
StephieAck what was it protecting everyone from ? She would of passed more of the vomiting bug by everything she touched with her hand a mask is only good for flu / coughing

I wish everyone was as considerate as the two of you. So many people go on planes or other modes of transportation while sick and completely disregard everyone else around them and their health. You both are amazing parents and wonderful people. Thank you for setting a great example for your kids and all of your viewers.

I know you mentioned getting a dog soon. There's a rescue in Springville, UT called Arctic Rescue. They mostly rescue "arctic" breeds like huskies and malamutes but they also have labs and mixes. Anyway, they're a great rescue and if that's something you're interested in, I'd highly recommend looking into them ❤️
What a great rescue group! I love huskies and malamutes! They're both great dogs and beautiful ones too! If I lived in Utah, I'd definitely come to adopt a dog or 2. That's the best way to get fantastic pets - go to the rescue groups or shelters! All of my pets are rescues and I love them so much!
Ellie, I literally tell people what you said at the end about just being happy, all the time because sometimes people take for granted the small things in life and they just see the big mistakes they have made. It's so true about loving life, living life, and being happy. I'm so glad you guys got to get home early.. when my husband and I leave our 9mo old son for an hour or two we're dying to go and pick him up haha.

You are a lovely family, I wish my family was still here but they have all gone to heaven,I am very grateful for the love my five beautiful cats provide. I think watching vlogs provides me with reasons to be so grateful, to see all these beautiful people just starting out, and it warms my heart.
My grandmother past away last week and Ellie's speech at the end was really nice to hear. My gramma was like that too. She had A.L.S. / Lou Gehrig's Disease. Although she was scared, she had an amazing attitude up till the very end. When she could no longer walk, she still had her wheelchair. When she couldn't craft anymore, she still made birthday cards online. When she could no longer talk, she typed. I find it difficult to be like that. It's hard to remember that her not being with us anymore means she is no longer trapped inside her own body, which is a good thing. I try to, and Ellie, your little speech does really help.
You two are amazing I always watch you on lunch break it's like a reset button for me to go back to work positive and happy you two are such a inspiration

I always get so sick when I have special plans or big events. Last year I got sick on Christmas, I get sick at birthday parties, during my own birthday parties, or even New Year's Eve😕
