fletch40 No matter how annoying SpongeBob is, this game (as well as the movie game) are AMAZING! They should do a game for Sponge Out of Water that's in the same style as the first movie game and this.

This is an awesome theme for a final non-boss level. The one thing that I hate about it though are those robots with the tar shield. I can never seem to defeat them.
You could also quickly and simply hit it with the bubble bowl to take down the shield I think. If you're lucky, you could also bash another robot against it and the shield is down. (Helpful in that freaking impossible dream level since they will kill you if you use cruise bubble)
1:22 - 2:48 is the best part for me personally. The entire song starts off eerie, but slowly sounds more fun. In the background, ghostly sound effects are there to remind you of your environment. Then it turns into a short acoustic guitar, hinting off the Flying Dutchman's ship's origins when it was still afloat. A sharp snap back to reality ensues at the very end, reminding you that this is not a playground for your leisure or a time to mess around. You must stay cautious at all times whether it be for the toxic goo at the bottom of the long jumps ahead or Plankton's robots around the corner. Welcome to The Flying Dutchman's Graveyard..

This was always my favourite level because my favourite robot Slick was there. Also cause of this music. The very second Slick in the first bit of the level, I'd actually knock it behind that broken wall and watch it as it has no way to get back to its spot. I also for some reason always enjoyed bubble bashing them from below. I just liked the animation it made when you did that lol.
I won this game in a raffle in the 1st grade, and played it a whole lot until about the end of 3rd grade. Two days ago I bought the Rehydrated version and it unlocked so many memories.
It was still a creepy thing. When I first saw the stage I just turned back and noped my way out of there. But I was eventually forced to go there once I couldn't get anything else in the other stages
The wall jumps were actually really creative and fun. I wanted to see more like those tbh. :P They were a breeze when I was a kid, but then, got hard out of nowhere when I grew up. :/
Just got done playing the Rehydrated version of this level yesterday. That game is starting to really bring back memories for me, especially since this was my 2nd console video game ever!
I would often just listen to the eerie electronic wonder of this song and just look around at the GIANT environment ….all the ships in the background….and I would literally be in awe because at 1:55, I had a little story of a main character coming to the graveyard and having an “oh shit” moment and seeing all the ghost ships rolling in 🤣
This game will always have a place in my heart. What I thought we needed was the rehydrated, but what I realize what we needed is the PS2 linked up to a HiDef TV with an AV2HDMI converter. Live the memories, brothers and sisters!
Those games as well as Simpsons Road Rage and one of my all time favorites ATV Off-road Fury. I haven’t played that game in what feels like forever. Such a chill game.

Sounds like Team Fortress 2
The nostalgia is real, tho, this is actually my favorite track in the game and my fav level, always enjoyed this level, it has such an awesome tune and acts well as the final stage before the Chum Bucket Lab, :)
This one and the downtown bikini bottom tracks are my favourites!
Can’t wait to hear this song in the new remaster!!
best soundtrack ever in video game history
this theme and Now that we’re men from the spongebob movie are actually chill inducing
"That does it! You've pushed this squirrel too far! Get ready for a hot fudge twister, Texas style!"
1:39 "That does it! You done pushed this squirrel too far! Get ready for a hot fudge twister, Texas Style!"
I remember staying home from school a few days ...so this theme reminds me of when i was sick lol
My favourite soundtrack in the game!!!!
I won this game in a raffle in the 1st grade, and played it a whole lot until about the end of 3rd grade. Two days ago I bought the Rehydrated version and it unlocked so many memories.
I start jamming at 1:54 every time wooooo~
as a kid this stage creeped me out so much actually quit the game and didnt play it for a good 3 weeks. now i just breezed through it
I was more afraid of rock bottom....seriously that music....
+louis lim Dont even get me srarted there...Lol
+louis lim same
It was still a creepy thing. When I first saw the stage I just turned back and noped my way out of there. But I was eventually forced to go there once I couldn't get anything else in the other stages
Best level in the game hands down!
The wall jumps were actually really creative and fun. I wanted to see more like those tbh. :P They were a breeze when I was a kid, but then, got hard out of nowhere when I grew up. :/
01:31 when the song sounds badass in my opinion
0:37
0:00 - 2:48
Everyone here is raging about the wall jumps. You're all ignoring the most rage inducing part of the game: the ball machine in the mermalair
That physics puzzle you just need to test and it all, before you try using the ball.
The older games were so much better than the more recent games.
Same goes for the show.
This game also captured the tone of early Spongebob really well, in my opinion.
Just got done playing the Rehydrated version of this level yesterday. That game is starting to really bring back memories for me, especially since this was my 2nd console video game ever!
So hyped to see this level get rehydrated.
"The Graveyard of Ships. Somewhere among this haunted mess, a fearsome spectre awaits."
The remake is gonna have this place looking amazing!
The way it goes from sounding like it stops at 1:39 to being one of the hardest videogame tracks of all time
2:10 And it goes even harder
I would often just listen to the eerie electronic wonder of this song and just look around at the GIANT environment ….all the ships in the background….and I would literally be in awe because at 1:55, I had a little story of a main character coming to the graveyard and having an “oh shit” moment and seeing all the ghost ships rolling in 🤣
This game will always have a place in my heart. What I thought we needed was the rehydrated, but what I realize what we needed is the PS2 linked up to a HiDef TV with an AV2HDMI converter. Live the memories, brothers and sisters!
Easily the best song in the whole game
damn spongebob battle for bikini bottom was the best only rivaled by the movie game
It sounds like Halloween and pirate music.
Considering the ghost pirate
Makes sense
I remember doing nothing but just swinging around so I could listen to this song.
loved this game as a kid played it almost every day then I got to this area and even though I didnt think it was possible i loved it even more
Robot ghost pirate ship dock graveyard?
Welcome to robot pirate island
beep beep boo boo bop?
+Lord Juffowup Nah man, you're thinkin of bee boo boo bop boo boo bop
beep? booboo bop?
Beep? Boo boo be-bop?
This and Simpsons Hit & Run are the holy grail of licensed games.
Those games as well as Simpsons Road Rage and one of my all time favorites ATV Off-road Fury. I haven’t played that game in what feels like forever. Such a chill game.
Ah, this brings back memories...
What the fuck the rest of the games music is pretty good but this shit is a straight fucking banger holy shit
that bassoon
Did anyone else notice the wall jumps were in sync with the music??? That made it easier for me, or was i just lucky?
1:36 onwards... lml
best spongebob song to have a breakdown
I love Flying Dutchman’s graveyard already but REMASTERED?!?!?
Oh lord I’ve fallen, and I’ve chosen not to get up.
The Music at 1:39 also played in the Industrial Park level cutscene after Spongebob defeats Robot Patrick in the first round.
Why is it so good?
This song is amazing! I know the show has always had great music, but I'm stunned by the effort put into the soundtrack of this game and how long and great the loops are. Any other game would have looped the song at the 1:37 mark but instead, the best part of the song is after that.
My favorite music in the whole game
Same! I love the downtown bikini bottom music though, too.
